I love everything about hotel Ketan, probably one of the most good value of money i have stayed in India so far. Although the hotel didn't have a full functioning restaurant, but the breakfast served at the patio was so delicious, not many items (which is not necessary at all), small selection cook to perfection made me look forward to the breakfast every morning! Surely they can do better with coffee. Staff are so friendly and helpful, cleanliness is up to standard, the entire hotel space was decorated with water colour paintings, huge balcony although i didn't have much time to sit there, but it was nice to look outside in the morning. I will come back if i visit Pune again for sure.

A little bit of street noise and construction noise in the day time, but that was probably with every hotel in the city that constantly upgrading.

Hotel Ketan is right in the midst of things on FC road, but it is somewhat set back so that parking is easy. Desk staff speak enough English for foreigners to get along, and they help with getting change, directions, etc. Breakfast is not to be missed. Several hot dishes such as idli, upmaa, and even dosa rotate each day. The rooms are quite large and offer the convenience of electric kettles.

As far as drawbacks, there is inevitable street noise, and oddly, in my room the window screen was set so I couldn't close the window myself, and in the bathroom there was no screen on the window at all.

The location is great and the personal at the reception is friendly.

Lovely hotel in a very young up beating street in Pune. very specious room with balcony, clean, safe, friendly and helpful stuff. i enjoyed the breakfast at the patio.

my room needed a little bit of pain touch.

A beautiful hotel, centrally located on FC Road. The rooms were stylish and comfortable. I travelled as part of a group and found the sitting areas throughout, made it very easy to meet others. Overall, I had a great stay.

The only improvement would be for the hotel to offer a bookable taxi service

We stayed in the hotel as a group of 14 people for nine days. The location is excellent. I can only highly recommend the hotel: The rooms are very nice, equipped with all you need, comfortable bed, nice balcony, clean bathroom, very good wifi connection. Most of all: warm hospitality (all our, partly unusual wishes, were immediately, with pleasure, fullfilled) and real care. We could use the nice open breakfast area for group exchange at any time. Definitvely will I return. The two nice shops (supporting children in need) have a very nice selection of good handicrafts.

It would be unfair to say staff was incompetent but the staff at the reception are Extremely incompetent. My minute one, on sensitizing that my passport binding was coming off, the receptionist scanned it and the binding came off completely. To my shock he was like “its not a problem, just glue it”, I spent rest of my days chasing to get a new passport to be able to return to Europe. He was totally ignorant of what a damaged passport means. Also while paying by card: their machine never works and they make you feel as if its your card! It was a very disappointing experience dealing with receptionists, they mean no harm: just incompetent. Breakfast: some days was very poor.
