My husband and I stayed here on our trip to The Ark Encounter in Kentucky and had a fabulous time. Our train got in at 3AM, which was communicated to Maria beforehand, and she was so accommodating to welcome us at that insane hour. The house is really big and quaintly decorated (it’s so cute!) and we had plenty of space and privacy. But be prepared for lots and lots of stairs! We didn’t exactly pack lite, so that’s the one recommendation I’d give. Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints. Breakfast was always fresh and tasty, our accommodations were nice and comfy, and our host was most gracious. Will definitely be going again.

Maria’s B&B is located in a cozy house in a peaceful neighborhood. The room and bathroom were nicely decorated and large. The place overall felt really clean also. Breakfast was more than we could’ve dreamt of with Maria preparing homemade muffins and frittata for us. Maria is super friendly and accommodating. We left feeling full and well-rested, would definitely recommend staying here!

Maria’s hospitality is fantastic. The bed was comfy, and the shower was warm. Maria’s lemon blueberry Dutch baby and coffee were a delicious start to a chilly morning. Stay here. You won’t be disappointed.

We love this bed and breakfast! It is super cute and so easy to get to. It is only a 15-minute drive from all the river activities, the museums and parks. Maria is the perfect host, and breakfast is amazing!

Overall, stay was good. Note this place has LOTS of stairs. We stayed in the Swiss Family Robinson room which was well-appointed and comfortable. Room had a tall king-size bed that was difficult for my 5’1” wife to get in to. Room also had a skylight directly above the bed that shone light in first thing in the morning. If you’re looking to sleep in a bit, this room is too bright to sleep much past sunrise. Snacks and soft drinks were complimentary and breakfast was nice and filling. Hostess Maria was very friendly and welcoming.

Great stay. Host was very attentive. Of all the places and meals we ate, we agreed the host's breakfasts were the best. Could get downtown in 15 minutes (there for Pink concert).

I absolutely cannot wait to stay here again! This was my first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and now I don't ever want to stay in a hotel again. Everything from booking the stay, checking in, the stay itself, and check out was a breeze. Maria was a wonderful host, AND an outstanding cook! Breakfast was amazing, I could have stayed to eat it all day. The entire place was clean and kept up, and overall it was a super unique and intimate experience. You will regret NOT staying here. Thanks again for the stay!

This is a wonderful B&B! The decor, intriguing home layout, comfort of rooms, delicious breakfast, and friendly hostess were all fantastic. We absolutely loved it.

Stayed with my husband on the 4th floor. The bed was comfortable and the room was nicely air conditioned. It was great to be able to help ourselves to cold drinks from the shared refrigerator, the breakfast was very good (eggs, pastry, fruit), and we enjoyed chatting with Maria and the other guests. Street parking was convenient and free, and the area was quiet residential with several restaurants s few blocks away. All around a pleasant visit.

A great, very clean choice for a weekend getaway. Close enough to everything we wished to visit with a very pretty surrounding. Owners attention to detail is top-notch.

During my stay, I felt more like a visiting family member than a guest. The room (and the facility) were beautifully arranged. The manager was on site to meet me & my mom when we arrived. There are a lot of stairs to deal with, both interior and exterior, which was a challenge given my mom's age (late 90's); however, the manager made us feel welcome and appreciated, and went out of her way to provide assistance. Breakfast was definitely special: a home-cooked meal with all of the trimmings.

The Gaslight Bed and Breakfast was quiet and well furnished on the top floor. Though they did not eat breakfast each morning except for one, what they ate was very good. Thank you for being a cozy spot for our daughter and son-in-law to stay while in town for the holiday.

Our first bed and breakfast experience did not disappoint. The accommodations and breakfast provided were excellent! We enjoyed Maria’s hospitality and were blessed with friendly guests. We had such fun visiting our son at UC this weekend and we’ll certainly plan on staying here again during future Cincinnati trips.

Maria is the owner and host, and she is wonderful. Great conversations, very friendly, and she cooks great breakfasts. She is a star and the property is excellent.

We had an amazing time staying at the Gaslight Bed and Breakfast. We were warmly welcomed at the door and given a tour of our room and the parts of the house that we were welcome to use. The guest room, bathroom, kitchen, and breakfast area were super clean and very comfortable. We especially appreciated the free water and soda in the fridge, and the little basket of snacks that we were allowed to munch on during our stay. Every detail was perfect. The breakfasts were so delicious and we really enjoyed spending time talking with Maria in the morning as we ate. She is so wonderful and we feel like we have known her for years after just two days. :-) The covered porch on the second floor where we stayed was so wonderful for reading as we had rain all weekend. It was nice to sit outside and to hear the birds chirping and the rain falling. We were able to park right out front on the street, and we walked about 6 miles around the neighborhoods and felt very safe. The houses in this area are beautiful, so get out and take a walk! Everything about our stay was perfect, and we would highly recommend the Gaslight Bed and Breakfast to anyone wanting to visit the Cincinnati area. We would love to come back again in the near future. We give Maria and her beautiful home 5 stars! Thank you for making our anniversary getaway wonderful!

The hostess was fabulous and the breakfast she made was delicious! The rooms are on the small side but very comfortable, clean, and so cute! You have your own bathroom on your floor and ours was next to a separate kitchen. I definitely recommend this place and will plan on staying again!
