The property is basic with basic necessities that you need to get your head down, we stayed for 1 night. Was very clean, smelled fresh. We didnt have an en-suite unfortunately but this didn't affect our stay. Upon arrival we were allocated a room which had a broken lock, spoke to the manager he moved us to a secure room immediately and refunded us partially which was brilliant. He also swapped the pillows, in the new room, at my request as i cant cope with miss matched bedding. Very friendly staff, helpful and made us feel welcome😊.

Shared toilet on opposite end of building and shared shower light kept going off in shower.

Got to the hotel nobody was there. Looked through the window and it was completely empty.

Got to the hotel.and was closed down and was being renovated. Leaving us stranded in Blackpool with a 3 and 2 year old. Managed to find somewhere else by knocking on doors. The b&b we finally eneded up at said that a few.peopme lately have also been done over by this hotel!

I booked the Honley hotel after seeing good reviews and booked way in advance to reserve a place. On the day, the check in time for the hotel was 3pm so we arrived at the hotel at 4pm to give them some extra time if they needed it. The door was closed on arrival and after knocking there was no answer. There was a note attached to the door to call a number which we did, upon calling a lady strolled over to the door in her pyjamas looking like she had just got out of bed and some other guys gorping at us from the top of the stairs. She asked my name which I told her and she said there was a problem with the twin room that I had booked in advance and paid for on expedia. She said the room should had never been advertised as they only do double rooms, keep in mind that I left all of my contact details and booked it way in advance but they never bothered to contact me. I couldn’t accept a double room as I was travelling with my mum so the lady said if we come back in 30 minutes and leave the suitcase there they will have a room ready.
We went to a cafe over the road to kill some time while we waited for a phone call from them. While at the cafe we could see the hotel through the window and the pyjama lady was just having a cigarette outside looking like she is in no rush to get the room ready.
