Everything was great, but the parking was miserable. The street the hotel is on closes at 10AM and opens at 6PM. God forbid you want to stay in late and get sleep, you're locked in until 6PM.
I was coming back around 2AM once my business was finished and there were no parking places in front of the hotel left. Couple of nights I was told to park in front of the businesses and nothing would happen as long as I was able to leave before 10am. Unfortunately, the business owners there were less then cordial and tore into me for parking there. There's a nearby parking area, but they charge ridiculous prices, and there's no discount for parking there because of the hotel.
Beautiful hotel and great staff if you don't have a car.

There was no car park. The hotel is in the covered bazaar and after the bazaar is closed, the hotel is accessed by car and the car has to leave before 10 am. The navigation constantly makes you draw a circle. The hotel room was not as in the photo. It was smaller and older and the air conditioning was faulty.

All the process starting at the check-in was very smooth. Good rooms, well located and convenient. Sad we couldn’t stay longer.
Walking back late to the hotel was a little bit worried.

I stayed there 9 nights. It was comfortable. Personal nice and preempt. The only problem i had was, almost every night i felt like in a camp. It was loud.

I stayed at this hotel to stay in Izmir. I was a little nervous because it was my first time there, but the hotel staff were really kind and helpful. When I asked questions about things I didn't understand, they kindly explained them to me. It was clean and everything about the hotel was perfect. I'll say it again, the hotel staff are wonderful. I think this is a hotel where foreigners can stay with peace of mind. I'm really grateful to the hotel staff. Thank you.

We lost one of our Glasses in the room , and then we found it in the reception, how is that happened we don't know
The staff are friendly, the location is inside some difficult street to find it but after you find it , it becomes very easy, the location is very good

Great location in a buzzing local area near shoreline harbour with local shops and near metro station and easy 15 minute walk into Konak which is a vibrant hub for eateries and local sights like clock tower. Room was lovely, clean and with a lovely bathroom.
Staff very friendly
Buffet breakfast is fantastic in a nicely decorated modern dining room.
Tip: ask for a room with a front view as otherwise you have a view of the side of a building and air conditioning units.

The location of the hotel is fine, close to the sea and the metro station. However, the wifi network there is a nightmare. I can't have even 1 minute uninterrupted use of the network. I had a hard time using the wifi for video meetings. Also, the cleanness needs some improvement, there was smell from the bathroom and the quilt pilling is really uncomfortable.

This was a little gem, clean, friendly and great value for a budget price. The area is slightly down trodden but very central. The 302 bus from the bus station is almost door to door. Car parking is a little difficult but doable if you're lucky. We would definitely recommend the Marina.

It's a nice place to stay some nights for discovering the centre of Izmir. We stayed just one night in an family room with three beds. It was totally enough and really nice bathroom for that cheap price! The guys at the reception were super kindly! They organised a transport for us to Özdere and it was much cheaper than the taxi! But it's not a place were you should stay a week :)

Easily reachable with metro or local bus, located in a bussy area full of caffes and shops. The hotel is very nice and clean, room spacious and comfortable, staff wqs always very helpful and welcoming. We spent there 3 nights and decided to prolong of one more night since we really enjoyed both the city and hotel. Recommended!

The hotel itself is fine - a decent option. The staff are professional and the room was very clean. The neighbourhood is a bit rough at night though.

The worst hotel I stayed in during my trip to Türkiye. The staff were very uneducated. They did not help with the luggage. For car parking, they said it was ok at first, but then they said it was not possible. I was a cold person and my husband is warm. We use air conditioners And I use a blanket. They said that it is hot season and they gave bedding .
The room and bathroom were dirty and unusable at all.

Great location to walk to many tourist places. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and had enough space. We were allowed to store our luggage after checkout, so that really helped a lot!

The personal was very friendly and everything was really comfortable. Just the position of the hotel was not perfect but it’s not the hotels fault so when I will come back to Izmir, I would book the same hotel again. Price and performance was perfect.

First of all, just for people visiting , the area is not the best. During nights starts a bazar for used electrical material, smell of melted wires or
not sure what it was was bothering us whole night. Secondly, the isolation of the room is very poor, as well , I couldnt sleep
all night due to some men and women sounds all night long. hope hotel owner will take this message and not
let inappropriate people inside or at least make aware people
with children , elderly that this kind of behaviour is going to be present and whether i can accept it or not.

Marina Hotel is in a convenient location just off one of the city center's main streets; near to Basmane train station and just a 10 minute walk to the bazaar and the Kordon. The hotel staff are very helpful. The cleaning staff work very hard. The breakfast was satisfactory.
I would give this hotel a rating of 10 except for the bathroom. It is the tiniest I have ever seen and there is no enclosure for the shower, therefore everywhere gets wet. It was very uncomfortable to use the bathroom; this was in the single room.
Other than that I recommend Marina Hotel.

It could have a been a good experience but they double charge me. I booked at expedia but upon arrival the receptionist said I can pay in cash, I gave in cash more than what I was supposed to pay (I thought there were taxes), and they said I´ll have the receipt by email (never got it). Later I was charged by Expedia. Trying to deal with it Expedia was not great... to say the least and I ended up awake until 3am talking to them and getting a smaill coupon! Fraudulent and ridiculous!!!

Walkable distance to Train Station. Main area of town.
We stayed for three nights. They did not make our rooms, two bath towels for two people for three days, had to validate our room keys every day. NO
Supplies were replenished ( Coffee OR water).
It was difficult to find the hotel even for the local Taxi guys.Two approach roads were blocked and we had to walk the last 100 meters towing our luggage.
We will not be staying at this hotel a second time.
But they did offer BF for 110 lira/person/day which we did not accept.

The room was very good for the price, the beds were confortables, the room was clean, we had some space for the luggages. The breakfast is also good for the price. The location is very central.
