Excellent Property although staff was forcing us to use Taxi for Airport and wanted to charge 100 Manat while we used Bolt App and paid 16 Manat for same thing. Trying to cash on tourist at reception is not welcoming at all

I am satisfied with my stay at the hotel. The hotel is in an excellent location and on the fourth floor is the hotel restaurant with an excellent view of the old town and the Caspian Sea. The hotel staff is friendly, accommodating and everything we asked for was met.

I would recommend the hotel for its great location (close to the metro, view of the three flames and in the Old City). The room was great. The breakfast is a generous if slightly monotonous buffet and other meals I ate there were of good quality and inexpensive for the rooftop location. The sauna/dunking pool needs to be booked in advance but is a nice relief after walking around Baku all day. Julie (at the reception) was really helpful and an example of "customer service" for all!

It’s good hotel but I don’t know how this was classified as 5 stars, it’s absolutely not look like 5 stars (looks 4 or 3.5). Good location in old Baku, however it’s very hard to access it by Taxi, mostly u need to walk for few mins (3 to 10 arrive or to leave). Staff was freindly, but service not available 24 hours (only from 9 am to 6 pm).

Good service. Breakfast was not as good as we wanted. Staff did not want to add more even if it was an hour left until it was over. TV did not work in our room. Overall I would give it a 4 out of 5.

The staff at the front desk were amazing, really lovely. Location in the old town is great though not good for taxi pick ups and drop offs (would’ve been good to get this information from the hotel beforehand as we had quite far to walk and lots of bags as it was the start of a long trip and it was F1 weekend so there were street closures we weren’t aware of near the hotel). I’m not sure how this place while not bad qualifies as a 5 star hotel. No black out curtains so it was very bright in the mornings making it hard to sleep, and the toiletries bottles in the bathroom looked either very old or reused because the labels on them were worn off. Very strange. Not an issue in itself but not what you’d expect from 5 star and might be worth them installing those shower gel dispensers instead. Breakfast wasn’t great but the view from that floor is lovely. If I came back I would choose a more central hotel perhaps a good quality 3 star that does it well.

We loved our stay here. The location is premier - inside the old city walls, but a very easy walk to everything you want to do or see in Baku. The staff is super helpful and friendly, the breakfast spread is huge and delicious, and our room was more than we hoped for. We would highly recommend Shirvanshah to any Baku traveler.

The service was not good at all. U must tell the front desk in order to clean the room. it was below average of 5 star hotel.

It is such a wonderful new hotel in the old city of Baku. I instantly fell in love with it. It is veery central to the metro station "Iceri Seher". Other main places are easily accessible by a less than 10 min walk. The rooms are very clean and beautifully designed. The hotel stuff is 24h available and beyond kind. They try to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I would come back anytime !

It’s a new hotel, that is why so few reviews. Location is perfect! Only place that offered a free breakfast with the stay. I would highly recommend it.

The raxi could not reach inside the inside city and ot hard to get the hotel .. other than that everything was ok

The staff is amazing here. The views from the rooftop are breathtaking. The location is perfect and close to the metro.

We were surprised by the careful attention given to us by the owners and staff of Shirvanshah Hotel. The hotel is very responsive and answered our request for airport shuttle service within 10 minutes. From the moment we stepped in the door, the staff did their best to accomodate our special requests, even preparing an after-hours dinner in a beautiful rooftop restaurant. The room was excellent and the hotel is located in the historic district very close to restaurants and the Icherisheher metro station that will drop you off near the cultural centers of Baku.

The breakfast area has a beautiful view of the sea and good spots of catching sunrise and sunset. The hotel sits right in the middle of old town which makes it very convenient and clearly the best decision for stay to experience the best altogether. The staff is very courteous and very good experience overall.

Property is located in unique, quite, place. Walking distance historical places, nice to walk around. The property itself not too big and not too small, not crowded, good to relax and enjoy. Service staff was very friendly. Room was clean, breakfast area located on top floor of hotel with nice view on sea and city. I would come back to this hotel on my next trip, for sure.

A must stay, Staff is excellent and very help. Can arrange a van airport pick up and drop off. Location is in the center of the Old City, everything is walking distance. Very close to a mini store as well.

Great choice

Very clean. Extremely friendly and able staff. Standard rooms are great size for 2 people.
