This was my first time to NY on a whim and we had an incredible time touring Manhattan.
When we checked in the nice lady offered to book me a return airport shuttle. She said to meet in the lobby at 8am.
She also said to leave our bags with the bellman and they would take our bags up when the room was ready.
Very informative, gracious, and kind. Warm smile too.
When we came back to the hotel, our bags were not in our room so when we called front desk/room service we were expecting an apology, instead we were scolded for not coming to pick them up ourselves and then proceeded to degrade us saying we need to have the ticket, all while we were in shock that they were not delivered to us as aforementioned.
At checkout, we came to meet our 8am shuttle at 8:04am in the lobby. We were told we have to be there at 8am and it leaves without you. I was given the impression this was my shuttle so why would it leave without me especially only 4 minutes late. And if it was scheduled for me, and I didn't show, wouldn't the next step of service be to call your guest and check on them so they don't miss their flight? But I was again chastised for not knowing their policy, even though it was not explained at check in.
I called an uber. I would like some kind of consideration on my bill for the added stress and inconvenience please.
Please take the opportunity to coach your staff as you have a beautiful property.

Quick overnight stay during our travels. Close to JFK airport. Shuttles ran constantly and timely. Room was spacious and clean and very quiet. Food and service at the restaurant was good!

No little lotion/ notions/ bathroom cups. Just a bar of soap. No snacks / drinks to purchase in room. Hard to get app up to figure out room service. A/c unit loud on and off. . No menu in room. Great shuttle service.

Shuttle service to and from JFK is fantastic. Worked there and needed shuttle after hours. App they use is excellent. Highly recommend.

The mattress and pillows were so comfortable. I had a great night sleep. The staff was very friendly.

I was greeted by Fatiha at the front desk and was immediately welcomed. If you are lucky enough to meet her, you will understand. She was such a breath of fresh air after flying all day. She immediately made me feel at home and expedited my check in.

Everything at the Marriott Bonvoy was excellent. From the front desk, the room, the bar, the restaurant. All was a very enjoyable experience. Comfortable, everything we needed right there. Very friendly staff and helpful. Would recommend to anyone. Close to airport with shuttle service, that makes your trips to and from the airport less stressful.

This was a very cookie-cutter hotel with just barely the amenities you would expect. I thought the stinginess of the property spoke loudest when it came to the single-cup coffee maker with a no-name coffee. I thought Marriott hotels had certain standards?
This wasn’t good value even given that what you pay for with this type of property is proximity to the airport.
One bright note—at midnight, the Marriott shuttle driver, a lovely woman named Koanne, was like a ray of sunshine—professional, cheerful, attentive.

Here's what I didn't like... The first day I checked in, I requested an extra chain for my room due to my elderly parents. I wanted them both to eat at the extended table. The staff at the front desk checked with housekeeping and I was told no. I couldn't believe it!! The next day, I spoke to a staff from housekeeping on my floor. He said standby. 10 minutes later, he gave me a chair. Thank God!

The hotel is conveniently located, very close to JFK and its shuttle service also makes it a plus.
The staff at the Front Desk is helpful. So also is Ali in the breakfast area. The girls at the bar could do better. They are slow.

Proximity to airport is great. Shuttle was not available to pick us up from Federal Circle as the phones didn’t work. Shuttle from hotel to JFK was on time and convenient. Safe didn’t work and they never came to fix it upon our request. No concierge to guide us things to do for one night in the area. Restaurant at the hotel was ok and convenient.

The hotel is very nice, clean, and comfortable HOWEVER there is a huge all-night construction site next door that kept us up all night. Zero hours of sleep. Constant beeping of trucks backing up and digging. The project seems early stage and my stay was late August 2024 so bear that in mind.

My stay was 10/10 until my last night, I had a $200 gift card for a friend’s birthday gift in my room and it went missing. My complaint was filed with the supervisor and nothing was done about it other than an “investigation”. Room was clean. Only bad thing is overnight parking is $50 per night/per vehicle and I had two cars.
