The room was very clean and well ventilated. The bed was very comfortable. The only thing is that it is far from Brooklyn and that’s where we want to go. But the shuttle to the airport was very efficient.

I was travelling on my own from the UK and this was a stop gap to getting to NY city, i didnt have roaming on my phone so my phone wouldnt work without wifi, so whilst i was in the airport, i messaged The hotel asking how i arrange the shuttle as i was arrving late at night so didnt want to have to wait around. The email i got back was a generic 'welcome to the hotel and hope you are enjoying your stay so far' i hadnt even arrived at this point. They didnt answer my question either. So i was left trying to figure out how i got the hotel, luckily after waiting in the cold for half an hour, a shuttle turned up. I explained my disappointment when i arrived, but they didnt even acknowledge it. Room was veryixed, nice flooring, but decorated old fashioned and bed wasnt really comfy. Breakfast was ok.

Good for a quiet, quick airport stay. Comfortable bedding, friendly reception. Airport drivers communicated with each other so we avoided long line at JFK.

The shower curtain had holes in it. The bathtub can use resurfacing. The breakfast is so artificial and over processed.

I stayed one night here so I can be closer to JFK, because I didn't want to be in NYC during the marathon and try to get out that morning for my flight.
My room was very spacious and very quiet. Except for the occasional person leaving with their kids. But 90 percent of the time very quiet and peaceful. I was on the 7th floor, had a nice view. And my bed was sooo comfortable, very very nice pillows and bed.
I appreciated that there was a bar and food downstairs, as I arrived around dinner time. And the server at the bar was very kind and very patient. The food was good and the drinks too.
The breakfast was good too.
I really appreciated having a shuttle to the airport the next morning. He was very nice.
The only thing is the staff at the front desk seemed a bit impatient with me. Maybe a little more patient.

We came up for a funeral and was able to check-in early. Everyone was so nice! The breakfast was amazing. The room was comfortable and clean. We had amazing stay. The shuttle got us to the airport on time and drop off at our terminal. Just wonderful experience being first time in New York

Only stayed for a few hours overnight before our morning early flight. Booked a parking spot through SpotHero and used the shuttle to get to JFK. Everyone we came in contact with was friendly and I would stay here again.

August 18th, 2024 I booked the reservation once my flight was cancelled due to storms in NYC. Many others did as well. By the time I arrived I was told “the only rooms they had left are dirty” I asked for a refund. I was told i would need to speak to the Manager. I tried calling for over a week. Nobody picked up the phone. I then reached out to Hotels.com where I booked the hotel online. They told me they would reach out to hotel. Just today, September 27th, 2024, over a month has passed, I received an email back from Hotels.com stating they were unable to connect and therefore could not remove the charge from my credit card.

RESERVATIONS were NOT kept we reserved a king in July for September test since we arrived late they told us that they no longer had any Kings available because I checked in late When I I showed them my communication with them informing them that I would be coming late then they said sorry but they were Overbooked. Room was 2 queens and no price difference. Room was cleaned but someone had smoked there previously even though it was a non smoking room so it smelled

The wait time and rude arrogance of one check in employee ruined all goodwill. But mostly corporate instructions their check in employees to hold firmly to 3 pm check in, is ridiculous beyond belief. People were loudly complaining. My physical discomfort to sit for hours in the Lobby and no relief for my swollen feet not to mention possible issues with blood clots due to long and uncomfortable sitting positions. Result of this lousy policy of corporate Hilton is that the afternoon relief gets an avalanche of uncomfortable and irritated hotel guests and your branding gets huge negative ratings and because I know that not every Hilton or Affiliated Hilton brand adhere to these draconian rules of corporate insensitivity and little disregard that we the travelers are not in control of flight times and transportation schedules. Our comfort and health are tested to unfair limits. God knows how challenging it is to travel these days. The hotel room access should NOT be ruled by insensitivity by corporate Hilton crammed down our throats by cold and haughty employees who hope that this loyalty to the ridiculous rules of corporate Hilton will results in coveted promotions. I have high praise for Justin, early breakfast shift, and Candy who at 2 pm, processed all of us waiting and upset in the Lobby (stained couches) and suffering from discomfort.Meanwhile the haughty check in person who assured me that she “could remember everyone in order of arrival proved: Not true,

Shuttle from airport, sitting there at jfk waiting,. Call the # and Hilton rep goes through her reserch, end conclusion "there is no shuttle service for Hampton inn" As i have my luggage in the taxi, the shuttle bus pulls inn. Now, info on this can be improved.

Good place for a quick overnight. The parking situation was very tricky, actually easier to just find street parking than use the valet (plus it was free).

Property was clean and comfortable, with friendly and knowledgeable staff at the front desk. Further away from restaurants than I thouht, but Uber Eats solved that. The free airport shuttle is very convenient and our driver had a stellar playlist.

The receptionist was quie unattentive - she seemed annoyed we were there & stopped checking us in part way to deal with other guests.
Our room was a good size & had everything we needed. I would have rated it higher except we got very little sleep which isn't what you want the day before an early morning/long flight.
The bed wasn't hugely comfy and the pillows were rock hard.
The main reason for the lack of sleep though was the noise from the corridor/adjoining rooms/elevator and ice machine. All of the above kept us awake on and off all night. There is not enough sound proofing, so a good night's sleep is just not possible.
Perhaps in a room not near the elevator/ice machine if you don't have loud neighbours and people basically having a party in the corridor you might be ok, but otherwise plan on getting interrupted sleep at best.
