One of the best hotels I have stayed in. The staff was truly extraordinary.

Nice hotel, excellent location and experience

Staff was incredibly helpful and supportive. Hotel had a lot of great amenities, aside from the gym. It could do with some more equipment. Location is perfect.

I booked upgraded room with access to lounge and sea view. In Lounge was nothing , when i arrived at the room until 1am was party on the roof top, the music was so loud that walls were shaky, i went to complain and they told me that it’s completely formal for hotels to make party, they gave me other with no sea view (that i paid double for it) but the same loud. I couldn’t sleep and had a glass of wine from the mini bar (didn’t look at the price as how much can cost?) it cost 45 usd !!!!!!! Be careful when you go there and avoid if possible was one of the worse experiences in my life and definitely worst for Marriot that i respect a lot.

We got our room upgraded with a half sea view. The room was spacious and the beds were large and comfortable. The employees were very nice and service minded. A staff member named Burak was very helpful in providing information on places of interest in Izmir.

Very friendly arrival. Super front of house staff including the security guards. Superb Guest Relations by Deniz who booked our fabulous trips to Cesme and Ephesus and guided our stay in such a helpful manner. Cisem and the from desk as well as Kerem and Kerim were fantastically helpful and accommodated us as a family very well and always smiled as we walked passed the front desk. The breakfast staff too were extremely helpful and accommodating and we have nothing but bid praise for them too. We would highly recommend the Marriot and all their team and we would happily stay here without exception. Highly recommend this hotel as central to the main Izmir attractions. My friends and I traveled to Izmir for holiday and absolutely loved our stay at the Marriot. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and never hesitated to provide accommodations when necessary. The amenties and facilities were beautiful and well maintained. My only complaint is that youre unable to get in the pool after 6pm on the weekends because of the pool parties. My friends and I ended up going to the indoor pool downstairs instead, but we would have enjoyed sitting in the pool and watching the sunset.

From check-in to check-out my stay at the Marriott Izmir was absolutely fantastic. Reception staff were incredible, they went above and beyond to make my stay the relaxing and restful break that I needed it to be. They helped with all my requests and enquiries and were kind, friendly and completely amazing. My room was stunning, spacious and immaculately clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly, the bathroom was big and fully stocked with anything I could need and the bed was so comfy, I slept better than I had in a long time. Room service and restaurant food were both very tasty and the portion sizes were huge. The hotel location was perfect for strolls along the water or as a starting point to explore the rest of Izmir and always felt calm and safe for a solo traveller. The Marriott was everything I needed it to be and more and I can’t wait to return again in the future.

This hotel is beautiful! The rooms are clean and spacious, with everything in the right place. The room feels comfortable and very well designed. Check-in took a little longer than expected, but the front desk team was polite and helpful. However, we had a bad experience at the spa, where we encountered a very rude and judgmental staff member who assumed that we couldn’t afford to stay in the hotel just by looking at us. Very disappointing, considering this is one of the biggest and most established hotel chains in the world, and we expect their staff to treat all customers with equal respect.

This is the best hotel in Turkey, and I have stayed in many exceptional 5 star hotels. What makes this hotel so special are two things: the staff and the whole Marriott experience. It came across that every staff member absolutely loves their jobs and that they were proud to work in this hotel. I am going to single out a few people and services because it’s nice to give the credit for their exceptional work. Deniz embodies what exceptional service is all about. She truly cares about the guests’ needs and will do everything she can, via expertly crafted networking and great colleague relations, to get you the best experience. I am truly in awe of how well she looked after me. She would make a fantastic Marriott Manager and I hope the hotel offers her the training to get there. Ilaydin and the whole Lima restaurant team. Exceptional! The staff and chefs personalised every meal for me following surgery and with great care followed the Doctor's meal instructions. They made such delicious food I thought were not possible on a liquid diet. The housekeeping staff keep the hotel spotless. You can tell they take so much pride in everything they do. You cannot find one dirty spot anywhere! The maintenance team, called them because my water wasn’t hot enough and they came to fix it within minutes. The WiFi technician, security, valet and reception staff all absolutely top quality staff. I had the best Marriott experience of any Marriott in this hotel and I will be back.

Chic modern property in an ideal location. Beautiful views of the Aegean Sea and plenty of great restaurants and attractions nearby. What made this hotel great was the staff. Some of our family members got sick during our stay and Deniz, Burak and Cagrihan did everything in their power to help us find the right doctor and medicines. Deniz even sent fruit to our rooms so our children would feel better. We were also impressed with everyone at the front desk and the bell boys. Thanks to this hotel staff we managed to have a great vacation and dealt with a minor medical emergency very smoothly.

Difficult to sleep when events in roof bar & also other guiders very noisy. No deli/shop or the hotel is not connected to a shopping centre as outlined in Hotel.com website

Great stay & very hostile staff!!

It was a lovely couple of days, the location was beautiful. The only problem was we had to use hotel’s common wc instead of room’s wc because wc’s air sits in the room and when you open a window mosquitos comes and eats you alive :/

The staff was friendly and went out of their way to be very helpful. The beds and pillows were super comfortable, it is a great location. I highly recommend it.

Brand new hotel with ultramodern amenities. Our room was on the water and had an incredible view. Luxurious bathroom, Nespresso and tea in the room. Th staff go out of their way to be helpful. Kudos. 10/10 stars.
