The hotel was very nice & clean. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar & pizzeria. It’s close to shopping and other areas of Madrid we like to visit. There was only one day housekeeping missed our room & we had to request towels, water & coffee, but the front desk staff was prompt to deliver. Overall, great hotel, friendly helpful staff & good location.

Stunningly beautiful hotel in a very central location. Almost perfect except for poor drainage in bathroom and broken hinge on balcony door. Definitely a great hotel

I booked a basic room, it is very small, does not even have a chair, only one stool and a console table big enough for an iPad. It lacks amenities, there is no minibar fridge, no toothbrush, no razor, etc. I was told razor was available on request when checking out, but nobody told me that during check in, so it is clearly about saving money. But it is clean, and location is good.

Great and modern hotel in an old building. Very clean, very friendly and efficient staff. Good food at the bar and very nice breakfast. The area around the hotel is very pleasant, walkable with plenty of restaurants and shops. The "Puerta del Sol" and "Plaza Mayor" are in short walking. I will go back next time I visit Madrid.

My room shower door was leaking

Great location since it’s right on the Gran Vía and you can walk to stores and restaurants. On the other hand, I received a room without a working television or internet. I could not access room service. They had a person come to my room on several occasions to try to solve the internet/tv issue by watching YouTube problem/solution videos to try to fix it. It was 10pm and he was still trying to fix it. I asked for another room and they said unless someone cancelled they could not offer me a room. I asked to talk to the manager and they said I had to wait until the next day. They had no intention in helping me feel welcome. I ended up calling Expedia and getting a refund. At 11:15pm the lady from the front desk called me to make sure I was leaving the room. I booked that night at the Riu Plaza España which I am grateful for. Their service is beyond excellent. If you are visiting Madrid, go to the Riu.

Great hotel. Very Clean except for cigarette butts on the balcony which I complained about and were never cleaned away. Rooftop super great.

The property is very dirty smelly broken doors and they don’t fix anything even after you ask very bad experience I would never recommend this property

Closeness to Gran Via.

it was great, i had been staying in the same hotel since 2021, i really like it and the people are great. EXCELENT¡¡¡¡

Very central location, however I got a room nearby the staff room and staff elevator that made a lot of noise. It’s placed on a busy street, so expect some noice from trafic.

The hotel is in a the heart of the city…when you walkout the front door you’re on the Main Street, leading to all the little side streets with shopping, and great restaurants.

It was perfectly located and the staff was lovely.

Wonderful stay at this hotel. Great service and amazing location. We highly recommend and will definitely stay there again.

Just as Cristiano Ronaldo is well past his peak, this hotel should no longer be considered an upscale 4 star hotel. Upon my arrival I was not treated with any Vip Access perks. Room si small and uncomfortable, pillows are way too big, so if you suffer from cervical problems, forget this hotel. When I was about to sleep at 1am, lights could not be turned off, and A/C was not working properly. They have no mantaince at night, so I was offered a late check out. I personally think the this hotel should have offered a full refund for not being able to rest that night. Breakfast is ok, but not even close to what other 4 stars hotel offer in Madrid.

The property was very over priced it lacked any touches you expect from a good hotel never mind a hotel that classes itself as a great stay

We feel the breakfast offered could be improved and upgraded.
