Hotel and location was amazing - perfect for a couple escaping to do Christmas shopping without the kids! The only reason I didn’t give a 5 was the refusal to allow us to access a room they told us was ready, without telling us we’d have to pay £20. Seems unnecessary to try & get the extra money from people if the room is made up & empty. Given its location near a shopping centre, it would be great for people to be able to shop & drop back at their room if required. We weren’t about to use £20 of electricity in the 2 hours before standard check-in time, but we might well have ordered food or drink in the bar…..

The room is perfect for us. My husband is disabled and we have often found that so called accessible rooms are just grim. Not here. It's lovely. My only but, and its a big but, why is there no hairdryer???? The room is not cheap. No hairdryer??

For a business hotel it was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was good and functional! Parking was also easy !

Hotel was fine, only complaint was that the room I was put in was for someone with a disability- with biggest issue being the sink was very low and I am fairly tall so I literally had to crouch down to use it.

Great location. Parking is in the multi story next to the hotel. £8/£9 per night. Shopping centre is next to the car park. Room and hotel very good. Lifts very fast so no waiting around. Breakfast is on the top floor and has a great view.

Hotel La Tour is fairly new and the rooms are very nice and being the tallest building in Milton Keynes you do get a good view from the rooms facing Campbell park. If you get one facing the opposite side the view is great as long as you are on the 5th floor or above otherwise it's the car park you're seeing.
The only things missing to make the room 4 star would be a mini fridge, and spare pillows which come as standard in other hotels.
It would also have been nice to have some more information in the room as I only found out when I was leaving that at the end of the corridor there is an ice machine.

The experience was amazing and the service was excellent. Great atmosphere and the location is perfect. Recommended to stay here as it is very nice hotel and is modern decor.

All good apart from the Skyline bar on 14th floor. Bizarre model where it’s table service just for drinks. Having been told to take a seat, getting service was a nightmare - ignored for ages not attention to order in which people sat down to serve. If a conventional bar arrangement we’d have stayed a lot longer! Hotel good - bar we’d give a miss in the future .

Its nice because its quite new but beyond that its pretty basic. In room amenities are bog standard and we could hear the TV in the room upstairs, this seemed more like a spund proofing issue rather than a volume issue. If youre on the wrong side then the view is a car park so its not worth the hype. Restaurant/bar is lovely though, expensive for standard of food but excellent service.

This stay was a one off as we have to save for luxury’s.
Wasn’t happy with only 1 towel for 2 people to share.
I had to use a wet towel - and had none for hair.
Also I rang down to bar & asked very politely if I could have 2 glasses with ice & slice of lemon.
Said I’d pay - but says just come down - so went down & waited at bar for a long time - no one came.
Also u can’t sign into Netflix on your tvs.
It’s so old fashioned for a luxury hotel -
Hand soap is not hygienic -
Maybe need to offer handwash.

Lovely room. I was disturbed by rain water hitting the outside of the building multiple times during the night
And a little disappointed the cost of breakfast wasn’t able to be deducted despite not staying for breakfast

Hotel is excellent but staff hopeless and unwilling to help. Was promised an emailed receipt for my stay which, of course, never arrived. Chased twice since and been simply ignored. Therefore can’t submit my stay on business expenses without the receipt. Attitude just stinks.
