I stayed in a 2 BR Apt on a Sat & Sunday night. Here are details:
- Check In: This is the most confusing part, by far. You will receive many emails and links to sign up for their services... that was a little annoying. When you arrive you drive up to the parking garage (also to confirm - parking is free and you have a garage fab pass to let you in and out as you wish) and have to click a link to get the keys out of a lockbox area. That process was VERY confusing, because my link wasn't working, the hyperlink didn't go anywhere. Thankfully the Prop Manager was literally standing there helping someone else check in and she helped me. Her name is Jyssica and she was fantastic! She gave me her cell # to call if I needed anything at all.
Once I got the keys and she told me what direction to walk to get into the building, it was easy peasy for the rest of my stay.
The apt was great - very clean, and great setup. the bedrooms are kinda small but the beds were very comfy. Full baths were great and spacious in each room. The kitchen and living room were a great touch to have for a 'hotel'.
The building is cheaply built, I heard the folks in the apt above walking around, but as a short term guest it didn't bother me.
Location is wonderful -- super easy to walk anywhere downtown.
I give this a 9/10. If they can somehow figure out how to make check in much less confusing it'd be a 10/10.

The shower was hot enough and the bed and pillows were comfortable. Everything was clean and ready to go. All good. No complaints.
The TV experience was lame. All smart TV's which required your own accounts to watch anything at all.
The blinds didn't close out the direct light from street lights, so it was a constant source of bright light irritants when trying to sleep.
The sounds from the street life and traffic were - just outside your window loud - but drowned out by the relentless movement of trains at all hours of the night.
I never saw a pool. Maybe it was behind the complex across the street. No signs to invite you to find it.

The check in process is terrible. The address for the key cafe is wrong and the directions aren’t good either. It took a half an hour to just find the key cafe after I paid for an early check in when I tried to get the key it told me it was too early. The location is good for being in the city but overall it’s a pain. Also, the people above us were stomping around at all hours of the night so we got no sleep.

Couldn't get key to room until 4:00 and to check out at 10:00 which is the earliest I have ever had to check out. Did not get the instructions on how to get key or what I could get it until last minute. No instruction on how to work the elevator as to how to get room we kept getting on different level of parking garage. I was total chaos. I got the parking pass but it would not work, so I had to pay an extra 80.00 for that which I would like to be refunded. Ordered 75.00 worth of pizza that never got delivered. They said they left it on the table outside but was not there.
4.2
It was in a great location. Restaurants available within walking distance. It was a comfortable experience.
4.2
The property is accessed between two different streets and the address given me to find the entrance doesnt exist (340 S. Alabama) At least there is no such number on any building. When I arrived at night, it was not the time to be walking around different blocks, trying to find it and when I contacted them by phone, the person sent me a walking link, which ended in the middle of a block that was also not accurate. Other than the initial problem of locating the property, everything else was great.
4.2
Clean, modern, spacious unit with good amenities. Great location close to a variety of restaurants.
-The instructions were written as if you were parking a vehicle which you entered the building through the parking garage. It should have also mentioned if you arrived via Uber/Lyft to enter the through the parking garage as well. It would have been helpful to provide a numbered outside door as an alternate way to enter if you didn't want to go through the parking garage.
We ran into the property manager as we were leaving so were able to share feedback on the unit which she appreciated.
-One of the key fobs wasn't working properly so the three of us had to be together throughout the trip or someone had to come down and get us which wasn't convenient
-The drains needed to be cleaned out
-Expedia lists the checkout time as 11am, however everything from the company listed 10am

This place was great, and the location was great tool.
4.2
Great location. Felt very safe and secure. Coffee maker was broke and there were a strangely large number of flies when we came in. But outside of those two small things it was excellent.
4.2
Allow me to start with it is hard to find. The key kiosk is not easy to use either. In fact, we had to get customer service to return keys. The apartment had SOAKING wet laundry in the washer. One of the beds was made without a top sheet. Both beds lack box springs and as such they are 6 inches off the ground.
4.2
Worst checkin process. No instructions on how to go from getting the key in a lockbox to taking the elevator crossing through the parking garage, finding the doors to the building and playing guess which direction the room is. Hallways smelled awful. Took me forever to find my room.
The room was very clean but a little stark. Could use some more pictures or something to make it homier.
4.2
Pros:
- Beds were comfortable
- It was convenient to have the bathrooms attached to each bedroom.
- the apartment was spacious
- the location was optimal, close to our event and a lot of restaurants
- Parking was easy
Cons:
- the room smelled like air freshers trying to cover up the smell of smoke. So strong it caused some of us headaches.
- the bedding smelled like smoke
- there were cobwebs all along the ceiling
- there was a leak in the ceiling in the kitchen
- the shower wasn’t clean (we found hair in it)
- there was a blue glittery foam (maybe toothpaste?) on the floor of the right hand bedroom
- only one bathroom had a garbage can
- the “key cafe” was inefficient and hard to access. Continued to reset as I was trying to access it. I had to call for support when checking in and out.
4.2
Overall the experience was decent
I had some difficulty with finding the building
Key cafe was also difficult to find and access

Great experience here! Very glad we chose to stay here.

We love the place very comfortable and convenient location

Little confusing getting the keys to the room. The room was more spacious and more affordable than local hotels we have frequented over the years. Easy walkable distance to local eateries, pharmacy, and stadium. Hope this is available next year for our return trip

Upon arrival at our booking, we found out the unit was unavailable due to a “maintenance emergency” yet no one informed me of this. I did virtual ID verification process for property management group the morning of check in and checked in virtually at 3:15pm without any problems. Arrived at property around 10:30pm to pick up keys from lockbox and my booking number was no longer valid. Called 24/7 help number and the gentleman was able to open the lockbox virtually for me, but it was empty. After about 45 minutes of being on the phone with customer service agent and then the actual property manager or owner we were notified of the emergency. We were staying downtown all weekend to partake in the NBA All Star events. Our weekend was completely ruined. Very disappointing. Do better.

The check in and check out procedure is VERY VERY complicated! WOW! NOT GOOD!

We stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bath unit. It was clean and comfortable. It was conveniently located across the street from Agave and Rye and they served wonderful Mexican food. We also had breakfast at the Yolk. Located just around the corner. CVS is also across the street and they had a few groceries and other necessities. It’s also a good location for Uber. Checking in and retrieving the keys is fairly easy. You just have to read the directions. They’ve included some photos to make it easier.
4.2
The apartment was very nice and clean. The location was great Finding the key cafe was horrible. Need to provide much more specific direction to key cafe location.
4.2
The apartment was not cleaned, there was a pair of dirty used underwear in a bedroom, the amount of hidden fees is ridiculous, I was over charged and never got refunded. This place is over rated. I would not spend your money here.
4.2
Property was great, just as describes, super cute 2 bedroom, clean, comfortable beds. Highly recommend and will look at this place agian when staying in Indy!!
Only down thing was the checking in and all the messages I got. Had to go through about 8 text to find different information. Finding the unit wasn't easy either, they send you a link with an address and map but that isn't it you have to click through another portal off that link to get to the unit. After 2 phone calls we got there, had I known that piece up front it was easy.
4.2
We loved our stay here. The apartment was clean and spacious. Would stay here again & again.
Although the instructions were clear, I still managed to get lost & confused in finding the building, but that was my fault.
4.2
Horrible experience. Customer service was very difficult to work with. Checking in instructions were confusing. Bed sheets were so staticky that I had to sleep on the couch the first night. Had to go buy dryer sheets to fix issue because there were none in the unit. Gym on site was not very nice and didn’t have a lot of equipment. Other units left trash bags in the hallway which caused a bad smell throughout building. Walls are quite thin and you can hear neighbors listening to tv and music.
4.2
Everything worked! Very clean. Good digital communication and instructions. I would have liked to have direct easy human communication in case we had a problem, but we didn't have any problems!
4.2
No directions on where the unit was located once we got the keys. Also, had issues with one of the apartments lock that screwed up our day.
4.2
At the beginning, it took us some time to get the code required to get the keys, but once we got it all went smooth. A pleasant place to stay in Indianapolis.
Thanks,
Hugo

The apartment itself was pretty nice, and more than met our needs. The owner was not very communicative, at all. More on that in a second.
But the thing that really rubs me the wrong way is the parking. It says very clearly in the description that parking for one car is included, but the parking pass did not work. I had to pay $70 for parking in the garage over the weekend. I've tried for 4 days to contact the owner about it, with literally no response. None. Not via text or email. It's ridiculous, and absolutely on par with the level of communication we had throughout the process.
After I selected this property, I received a random text asking me to scan a picture of my ID (which of course includes my address, date of birth, and so on. No security risk there). That was weird, but whatever. Then in the leadup to my arrival, I received an inordinate number of emails that were beyond confusing. I began recieving emails from Keycafe (with no description of who or what Keycafe was), links to websites that offered such helpful information as 'locate keybox'... it's a big building, things like that. Between arrival and when I finally got to my room was about 45 minutes trying to figure out the check-in process. This is probably best shown by the check-out email. It reads -
Hi (name)
Please see instructions for your departure:
Mitten Housing will place a hold for the security deposit on your card day of check out.
That's it. That's the instructions. Very frustrating

I made a mistake and somehow booked 2 rooms instead of 1. When I realized it a week or 2 before the stay, was told repeatedly that they would not give me a refund.
Problems checking in, and I spend 30-60 minutes getting the key. There is no way to contact a live person; you leave a message or send a text. I’m pretty sure that my wait was longer because someone was having dinner.
Very few lights in the place, for some reason. As in no lights in the living room area or over the desk, and just 1 reading lamp in each bedroom.
Next complaint is probably just because of me, but I need a really dark room in order to sleep. The blinds did not block enough of the streetlight light.
And why do I have to take out the trash and run the dishwasher? Don’t they have a housekeeper? Do they trust the previous renters to properly clean dishes???
4.2
Very clean, very close to everything. Nice pool and gym
4.2
Very convenient to downtown options.

This property was a great find! This is a 2/2 apartment, each bedroom has a queen bed and there is a queen sofabed in the living room. It has a full kitchen with appliances and utensils provided, full size washer and dryer and dishwasher. The apartment is spacious, clean, well-maintained. The furnishings are very nice; flat screen Roku Smart TV's in each room and the livingroom. It is a15 min walk to the convention center and 5 min walking distance to restaurants and bars. The apartment we stayed in was actually right across the street from a CVS pharmacy.
4.2
If you don’t like sleep- this is the apartment for you.
I know it’s downtown and all, but the noise level in this apartment is next level. The walls are made of paper I’m guessing? I honestly feel bad if someone signs a 6 month lease at this apartment without a trial stay first. The person living above this apartment must have a pet elephant. They were the heaviest footed person in all of existence. I thought maybe they would just break through the ceiling. Also, and this is not an exaggeration, a repairman was cutting drywall right outside our window at 11pm! On a Tuesday! Does this city not have a noise ordinance? Black out curtains from Amazon are like $40 a panel, you’d think the least they can do is spring for some, but nope, the light just shines in at all hours of the day, whether it be the sun or street lights. The air conditioner works great in the living room, but the bedrooms feel like a sauna. The amenities are really great. The gym and pool are top natch. Unfortunately, staying here will inevitably make you way too tired in the morning to use the gym because you’ll be exhausted.

Stay was great.... would stay again. Location for my plans was great. Price was steep because it was the INDY 500 (even though I was not there for the race). It appears to be VERY REASONABLY priced when NOT race weekend
