This property is a very short walk to the water, restaurants, shops. Also the Citadel. Bus to Nice is also very close as is the train. It has great A/C, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. I would stay there again. Excellent communication with host.

We had a great stay at this property. It was very clean and comfortable and well stocked. The location was perfect to jump on the train or bus and explore all over the coast.

We had a lovely stay in this bright, well equipped apartment. It is just as pictured. Molly greeted us with wine and homemade cookies! The location is ideal for exploring Villefranche. Close to shops, beach, marina and restaurants. The back patio is especially nice.

Great host and amazing property, easily walk to amenities, town, bus and train station. Outdoor patio is amazing as is the entirely renovated apartment. Molly is a wealth of information and readily available for any questions. Amazing stay and hope to return soon!

The Citadelle is a wonderful property in an excellent location. The private garden is fantastic for morning coffee and afternoon wine. The apartment is well-equipped and having a washer/dryer is very convenient for a long-term stay. Plenty of room for two-three people, and close to the village shops, restaurants, beach, and train station. Up the hill to the Wednesday/Saturday market (excellent selection of produce, meats, cheeses, tapenades, etc.), Casino grocery store, bakery, ATM, convenience store, and bus stop. Molly is an excellent host and will give you all the best recommendations during your stay. I will be back!

From the very moment we booked this stay everything absolutely perfect! Molly, our host, was so gracious and communicative. Before we arrived she let us know that our first day was a national holiday and that the grocery stores would be closed and asked what she could pick up for us! So nice! She was a wealth of information, instantly responsive and made everything so easy and wonderful. The apartment is beautiful and charming. It is newly remodeled and everything is bright,shiny and fresh. The decor has lovely touches that made it warm and welcoming. The patio is gorgeous and made it really feel like our own private villa on the Riviera. The kitchen is perfectly outfitted with everything you could ever need to prepare and cook. There's even a gas grill! The washer and dryer worked well and was very handy as were all of the other appliances from heating and cooling to making coffee. There are additional thoughtful touches such as a rolling grocery cart that will make you feel totally French. The location is absolutely perfect. It's a 3-4 minute walk into the Old Town with all of the restaurants and the beautiful port. And another 3 minutes in the other direction to a small commercial street where there is a grocery, bakery, pharmacy, Green grocer and the open market. It's also very easy and quick access to the bus along the coast to the east as well as Nice and more to the West. The bus stop is less than a 5 min walk. You'll love this place!
