I've stayed at the Regent before and like it for it's friendly staff and creature comforts. A bit more expensive but way better than any budget hotel! A bath tub would make this a 5!

Really nice central hotel - very clean, comfortable and quiet in the Park rooms (which I had). Only issue was the air-con made a weird noise even though it was off.

Located in the middle of town and 20 mins walk from the station and 10-15 minutes walk from Kings College chapel. Small but nice hotel with free cold breakfast and nice staff.

Clean apartment in central Cambridge. Friendly staff and place was clean. Liked the convenience of kitchenette. Breakfast was basic but enough to grab something. Would stay again.

The location is great and very convenient. However, the lack of soundproofing is an issue—you can hear every movement from the floor above. Improved soundproofing would make the stay much more comfortable.

My compact room on the park side was peaceful and pleasant and well equipped ( incl fridge but no micro).
Good continental self service breakfast.

Perfect spot for business trip to Cambridge uni - spacious, bright, clean, and comfortable. Good location, easy instructions, nice facilities, good view of the park, decent breakfast. A little noise from room upstairs but nothing major and quite good for a city of older buildings. Overall a top-notch stay, highly recommended.

First stay at the Regent. The Staff were very friendly and the room was very clean and had everything we needed. In excellent location for city centre. The breakfast was very fresh with plenty of options. Will definitely stay again when in Cambridge.

Fab hotel and just what we needed whilst visiting Cambridge. Easy locations with lots of lovely places to eat and visit close by.
Didn't give 5 simply due to the design of the bathroom meant every time you had a shower it flooded the place leaving a swimming pool of a puddle by the toilet. design ideally needs looking into

Convenient location halfway between the train station and the town centre. Really fantastic reception staff, lovely relaxing breakfast area overlooking the green, and very clean rooms including bathroom and kitchenette with new furnishings and fixtures.
Downsides would be that the road-facing rooms are a little loud, and for a couple the bed is rather small. Neither were an issue for a single night stay but something to consider if staying for longer.
Overall a positive experience though.

Was all good until around 1am when the family above the room started shouting and moving things around for at least an hour.

Convenient location, within walking distance to the centre of Cambridge. Surrounded by many cafes and restaurants. The room was clean & quiet, the bed was comfortable, rain shower pressure was adequate. Breakfast was simple but adequate to get us going. Our room was overlooking the park. Staff was friendly.

Only complaint would be that the shower design was not good so we ended with a soaking wet floor after every shower

However, the shower took a very long time to heat up and also made the room very wet.
The breakfast was ok but not much available. Cereal and a few pastries. Not the place to go if you like a big hotel breakfast.
