Lounge and dining area smart modern and welcoming. Staff friendly and helpful.

Room was very dated, uncared for (although clean) and zero soundproofing. The large group of very drunk loud men kept us awake all night and their disgusting (still drunk) behaviour at breakfast including the worst kind of swearing in front of young families was not challenged. I don't blame the (all female) staff who were clearly very intimidated but the company that took the booking. The listing implies a level of comfort and surroundings that simply did not exist. The rooms need total refurbishment.

The bed was really comfortable, the room was spacious and had a lovely bathroom.

There was rubbish left in the wardrobe. The bed sheets looked like the same from previous customer. The carpet desperately needed a hoover and there was a already opened bottle of water that wasn't replaced which I had to chuck in the bin.

They kindly changed our room to accommodate health issues. Comfortable and really clean. Breakfast was well stocked and hot. Staff really pleasant and helpful. Great location and good value for money.

I loved our Superior Suite - having two separate rooms but together was so much better than two completely different bookings as we were a group of friends. Breakfast was lovely. Very good value for money. Excellent quiet location whilst still being close by. Staff very helpful.

I don't actually NEED a TV in the bathroom - but if you have one, then I would like it to work! If it doesn't work and can't be fixed, it would be better to remove it so that people aren't disappointed when they try and use it. Curtains were hanging off the curtain pole in one bedroom and the pepperoni that was on the stairs up to our suite when we arrived, was still there when we left... It wasn't awful by any stretch of the imagination but I'd probably try somewhere else next time.

We were upgraded to a nearby apartment which was superb.

Although evening meals were advertised as being available with an excellent choice the dining room was not open at all when we went in the evening. Very disappointed as local eating establishments were few and not good. No draught beer in the bar.
