die late ist sensationell, 10 Minuten von Tromsø City und trotzdem absolut ruhig. Man hört nur die Wellen. ein weiterer großer Pluspunkt ist die Dunkelheit. Nordlichter sind beinah garantiert, da nichts die Sicht versperrt.. wir haben das kleine Gästehaus gemietet und hatten alles was wir brauchen. Küche voll ausgestattet, Bad hat eine ebenerdige Dusche. Wolkenbett inkl. Bettwäsche. ein stücken um das Haupthaus herum kommt eine kleiner überdachte und mit Grill und Feuerstelle ausgestattete Chilloutzone.. wer möchte kann sogar einen Jacuzzi nutzen. wir waren Weihnachten dort und hatten bei dem vielen Schnee und den ganzen Erkundungstouren keine Zeit dafür 😅

Very friendly and helpfull host with lot of tips for good restaurants and excellent grocerie store (Eide Handel). Outside Tromso, however still close enough (15 min drive). Beautifull view on Norwegian fjord and mountains.
Even after the upgrade to the bigger room/appartement, we had expected some more space.

The cabin was clean and with all the facilities available. Perfect location.
A bit more maintenance would have been good. There was ice in front of the door. A bit more cleaning would have been good.

the location is beautiful and 20 min drive into Tromsø. the host is very responsive on her phone and checks in regularly. there is a lovely sitting area with fire which is a nice way to take the views in
the wooden stairs down to the room were compacted with thick ice, this hadn’t been gritted when we arrived in the dark and was difficult to manage without a hand rail (perhaps this could be added).

Complete basic facilities, clean & beautiful sea view. The room is warm & cozy. There is netflix on TV but you have to use your own account. Esther (the host) is very accomodative & kind in offering us transport service at a very good price.
Unstable wifi connection. The door has glass window which can be seen from outside. Maybe to consider curtain blind/ adjustable blind for the door’s glass window for privacy.

We saw Northern lights just outside our window ☺️ Also Tromsø city centre is easily accessible from the place. The owners were friendly - would like to stay there again if we visit Tromsø again👍

First of all: we saw Northern Lights 3 nights in a row from the bedroom window/the terrace!
Lovely, very helpful hosts. The small en-suite room (outside the main cabin) has everything you need for a short stay (fridge, kettle, coffee machine, microwave and of course bathroom), but most importantly, it has the most wonderful view over the fjord. The scenery is beautiful day and night. Very quiet and peaceful. There is a bbq and an outdoor oven that you can use.
Nothing, everything was perfect, we would return any time! Thanks again. :)

Great location away from the city, loved the stillness and met some moose few hundred meters from the house! We also loved observing Northern lights from a little hut with fireplace by the water.
Beds were a bit too soft for me. The living room + kitchen is quite small, just enough for 2 people.

the location is great and the place is a cute cabin perfect for two , with all the appliances you need.
the mattress was a bit too soft for me, but i do have a bad back so i am not the common traveler anyways. the cabin is still fantastic

The house was cozy and very nice. It had a huge TV, spectacular view and we even saw the northern lights from our front door.
The wifi was sometimes slow and didn't even work but we learned that this was because of the weather. Be prepared for this while coming here. Download your movies and series beforehand :)

Supercosy place at the sea with fireplace and fantastic landlord. We loved being outside at the warm fire as we went in winter. But also Thor summer it includes a BBQ. Less light out there which is good to see the amazing Northern lights

We stayed in this marvelous house for a week, and it was absolutely fantastic! Everything was spacious, clean, and everything we needed was there including a beautiful view. We finished off the week with marshmallows above the fire at the water front. We will be back!

The cabin is super cozy and is in a stunning location. It is equipped with everything you need, the bed is comfy and I loved the huge shower after a day of hiking.The little hut with oven down at the beach is an extra gem, I enjoyed the views over the water from there.
Esther,the host, is great and very helpful,it was an absolut pleasure being there and I would love to come again.

- Just 20 minutes from the city centre and the airport
- Even if it is close to the city it is sorrounded by nature, far from the lights of the city (during a clear winter night you might see northern lights from there)
- There’s a lot of space good for 6 people
- Large and fully equipped kitchen, beautiful and very stilish living room with a lovely fireplace
