We could not have chosen a more perfect house! Our daughter was married less than half a mile away at the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and we hosted our family and out of town friends at this house for the wedding. Everyone loved the house. Each guest room was beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of bathrooms for guests and visitors, and again all beautifully decorated and clean. The kitchen is fantastic and the theatre and game room were amazing. The master bath is to die for.The house is made for parties and gatherings. The downstairs space flows easily from the kitchen to living room to the deck. There are great seating areas on the first floor that really lend themselves to to mingling or being able to stop and chat with groups of friends and everything is so open.Everyone loved the house and commented throughout the evening how perfect it was.Everything that we needed was in the house or close by.Just a short drive to grocery and liquor store and just about anything else you would need . The kitchen is well appointed and had everything we needed to prepare meals and so open that we could all be in or nearby to chat during meal prep. It was just a very warm, welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, which was just what we were looking for in hosting our family and friends. We had a great time, would definitely come again and would highly recommend this house to others. It made our weekend perfect. We live locally in Bowie MD, but other members of the family are scattered mostly in VA and Frederick MD.Our parents were coming in from the Midwest and my brother was coming in from Texas. We wanted a solution to all the family members traveling miles to different homes to visit everyone, and not being able to spend quality time.We wanted more than just a house - we wanted a home in which to spend our family Thanksgiving. We found exactly what we were looking for in this large, beautiful home.Not only was it spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, it was warm and inviting. We utilized every inch of the house from the breakfast room to the theater and rec area on the lower level.Everyone had a ball from my 80 year old parents down to my 4 y/o nephew.Their fabulous kitchen and dining area provided everything we needed plus more for a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner. The guest rooms were large and comfortable and the beds slept wonderfully. The kids spent Thanksgiving Day down on the beach(a block from the house) with their pants rolled up and feet in the water in November! The best compliment that I can give the home owners is that we were as comfortable in this home as we would have been in any of our homes with the extra perks(and there are many)that come with a vacation rental! We loved Bella Chateau! It was perfect for our large family gathering, of 15 people, including 6 kids and grandpa! Everyone had plenty of space, and the house is really well appointed with all the amenities. Owners decorated for Christmas and we just added our personal touches, and they even supplied a bottle of wine from their own wines, which was very good! We loved the neighborhood of Bay Ridge- great to walk to the beach and neighbors friendly. Very convenient to downtown Annapolis and At Home Annapolis is terrific, very responsive!! It was so great to have someone to answer questions. Would highly recommend and we hope to come back for another family get together!
