Generally, I enjoyed my stay but I did notice some things that could be improved upon if you want to stay competitive with other BnBs in the area. The fact that there was no invertor to cope with the loadshedding was hugely problematic. Other BnBs I have stayed at have made a point to deal with this reality. The lights next to the bed were supposed to be able to last with loadshedding but they had not been charged. The supplied coffee could be a better brand. More than just two milk sachets for coffee is always a winner. The pillows on the bed are needing to be replaced - they are too thin and not comfortable. The decor on the wall in the bathroom (toilet) needs a proper clean or paint, or just remove it.

We booked our room very late after 5pm and we managed to get a room at the facility. Although the owner was worried that they did not get time to prepare the room for us, the room was clean and comfortable. We were able to warm the food that we had for dinner. What topped it all, my son who is a student at NWU, was invited to join us for breakfast for free the next morning. We had a hot breakfast even during the load-shedding. We had to leave for Cape Town the following morning and since we were not going to have breakfast, the facility supplied us with Muffins and Good Morning biscuits for the road. Will definitely come back to this establishment and I highly recommend it to anyone who need a place in Potch.
