Very comfortable stay again. Perfect position for walking to Leicester Tigers game and into the city. Lovely staff. Excellent breakfast.

Car park and reception clearly signposted, check-in pleasant and efficient, as was check out the next day. Impressed with the size, comfort and cleanliness of the room. (Why put all those cushions on the bed though?) For the evening meal I chose the “casual” seating near the bar, which was adequate though perhaps a little soul-less. The vegetarian option I chose from the menu was tasty and filling, though gave me significant indigestion during the night so I wouldn’t have it again! I had thankfully recovered in time to enjoy a first-rate breakfast in pleasant surroundings.

We had a wedding at 15:00 managed to check in early which allowed us to change ready for the wedding which was a bonus for us. Room was clean and had everything we needed. Had a good sleep very quiet. Also ordered room service just some sides, food was amazing. Would recommend.

Our stay overnight at the Belmont was excellent. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Tea/coffee in room. Matress was new and comfortable for those who like a firm mattress. Check in was quick and we were told of breakfast times and where it would be served. Breakfast was excellent. Plenty of cereals, toast and croissants. Full english breakfast and items like Eggs benedict were freshly cooked for you. Cannot fault the Belmont and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We will return

I was only briefly in the hotel and didn't use any services apart from sleeping in the room, so not much to say. However, everything was good, clean, etc. The only thing I would say is that the hotel refers to parking, but it is incredibly limited and this should be mentioned in the details. There was room for about 5 cars in a road barely wide enough for two large cars to pass. This should be made clear. If, like me, you are hoping to park up quickly and get out. this is important information.

Absolutely amazing Victorian Hotel, lovely spacious room with soundproof. My favourite thing was a large clean bathrooms with rains shower overhead. Excellent staff , very helpful and welcoming and smooth check-in. Highly recommended.

Everything was lovely until 4am when someone was knocking and banging on front door for over half a hour.

My husband & i booked here as we were going out in Leicester City Centre for the evening/night with friends. This place is so much grander than it appears in the photos! The reception staff were lovely, and clear instructions to find our room and breakfast details were provided. Our room was a fair size, but the bathroom was enormous! Everything was lovely and clean, and to our surprise we even had a patio! While we were getting ready for the evening we shared a bottle of champagne, which also meant we would be wanting to smoke/vape. Usually this is such an inconvenience having to leave your room and trapse through the hotel to go outside, but the patio meant we could just step outside. Bonus! The bed was super comfortable and we both had a brillant nights sleep. The next morning we went down for breakfast (feeling rather delicate) and it was just what the doctor ordered. We both had a full English which was really tasty, really good quality produce. We also helped ourselves to the pastries and fresh juices which were lovely. Overall, great value for money, easy to find, great service, clean & decent sized room & bathroom, comfy bed, bonus patio and excellent breakfast. We will definitely return if we are visiting the area again!

Staff are nice and friendly. Bar was good with good seating and nice wine. Parking is available free but it is tight and fills up quickly. Was at a wedding so came back 11ish and we were lucky to get the last space, chap behind had no where to go.

Great location. About 10 minutes walk from train station. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. An easy walk to the city centre, about 15 minutes or so. The museum is just round the corner. Breakfast was good. Complimentary water provided. Lovely.

Nice room and tasty breakfast

Close to start of New Walk which is a pedestrian walk into the town centre. Attractive bar and lounge area. Good breakfast with lots to choose from. Friendly and efficient staff.

Wonderful hotel in a nice location. The breakfast could be better, and a bit annoying that you could not fill your own plate in the buffet. The wifi in our room was unusable, but fine in other parts of the hotel. Lots of good dinner options nearby.

I certainly won’t be rushing back here unfortunately. Air con didn’t work properly, single window barely opened to let fresh air in. King size bed was 2 singles pushed together, both single beds had broken spring mattresses. Decor was dated and could do with freshening up. The staff were all very friendly and nice, and the food I had was very nice but the room just wasn’t great at all.

the hotel was in a good position for the centre, we visited the cathedral and it was a 15 minute straight walk. the hotel was clean and friendly. the room was very comfortable, however, as it was one of the hottest nights the room was really warm during the night. i would recommend this hotel.

A lovely old building with lots of character, albeit finding my room was a little confusing initially as it is a bit of a maze! The room itself was very nice and the bed was extremely comfortable! Breakfast was a nice selection of hot foods, cereal, fruit and pastries and all the staff were very friendly.

I stayed one night to attend a gig at the Y Theatre - nearby the hotel. The room was ready on time. I was impressed by the room - although it had the name Rebecca on the room - not sure what this meant. The room was lovely with a good TV, easy to use shower and comfy bed. Would stay again.
