Nicely renovated property ( had been before Reno with previous owners). Staff very helpful. Room clean, new furniture, carpet and mattresses. Nice to include breakfast buffet which was OK but basic. Didn’t use pool or hot tub but people said the hot tub was good. Small gym with several machines. Great location. Stayed 4,nights while visiting relatives. The price was reasonable. Will come again.

They have changed the name of the hotel signage and it was great that they called ahead to alert us to this so we weren't looking for a sign that didn't exist. We have stayed at this Travelodge many times over years, and it is adequate, and clean.

The person at the front desk was very polite and helpful, the room was relatively large and very clean with a very large tv.
My only criticism is that the toilet paper was awkward to get to.

Great clean room and the hotel was in great shape. Free breakfast and a pool and hot tub. I would recoommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Parksville or even making the drive if you have business in Nanaimo.

The stay was absolutely lovely. Nice staff, had a continental breakfast, pool, hot tub, and the beds/pillows were so comfy. Nice spacious room.
The pool is only 3 feet deep, but still nice to swim in.
My only complaint is that the shower had a weird ringing sound that was annoying but I think that was just a faulty tap and not reflective of other rooms.
Lots of fantastic hiking trails, water, and beaches to visit that are nearby, and there is a local store with goats on the roof 10min from the hotel that is worth a visit.

The hotel was clean and the rooms are newly renovated. Simple design, no carpets in the rooms.
The staff we interacted with were very friendly but seemed more interested in each other than with hotel guests. The breakfast was limited and the hotel was way overpriced for the amenities and the post labour day time of year.

Lovely place, very new and clean. Loved the breakfast. Air conditioning did not work so well. Found it a little hot in the room at night. Great we could have our dog. Nice to have a swimming pool and hot tub.

This hotel is beyond my expectations. Brand new on everything. Beds are very comfortable, sleep very quiet at night. Front desks are super helpful! Will definitely come back again whenever we are in Parksville.

They shouldn't rent the space as it is right above the space the staff use as a kitchen/break area. Room #203 for someone that has to sleep earlier than most as I'm up at 4:30am for work it was a bit much, sound proofing needed as the people above heavy footed, and thumping on the wall's of the next door room till like 1am. Won't return.

The rooms are currently undergoing renovations, and we got a modern, renovated room with new furnishings. We had a very comfortable stay. The propery is very clean and well maintained. The front desk personnel were all so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic, but has all the protein and carbs that you need for a simple breakfast. The beach is close by, and public transit is right outside the property. We would definitely stay here again the next time we visit Parksville.

The pool, which in its entirety is only 3 feet deep, was very underwhelming.

Upgraded, clean, everything was new and fresh. The breakfast provided was excellent and lots of space for everyone. The pool could be a little less green, but they said it wasn’t due to algae. It was just the pool liner itself was an aqua color. Very good stay, helpful staff, Great location to walk to mini golf in the evening.

We stayed for 3 days. The staff was fantastic. Breakfast good for a continental breakfast. Pool was green when we got there but when they were told about it they quickly fixed it. They seem to be in the process of renovating/updating. As I said before staff was very friendly.

Staff not readily available for check in. Room very poorly setup. The bed was so close to the wall that you had to walk sideways to get into bed. Only one bedside table. Black mold in bathroom. The bathroom door would stick badly when opening to closing the door. Overall a very poor experience.
