Our trip was an emergency one, to see our daughter after she was hit by a car, in a hit and run incident. Her car was badly damaged and although she was physically ok, we wanted to see how she was mentally. We stayed at this hotel because it is close to her home, and we've been there before. As usual, there were no bad surprises. Breakfast was lovely too. Parking is safe, and free.

Well located for the purpose of the trip, quite location, good tv channel list (some hotels are terrible on this matter), clean, simple but decent breakfast, and room has a good size and appears renovated not long ago. A little pricey but everything is pricey nowadays.

This accommodation provided exceptional value and comfort. A perfect example of why not to judge a book by the cover. It looks a bit dated as you approach the hotel. Recently renovated rooms offer tremendous comfort. Beds/pillows are fantastic. Very clean. Breakfast was typical for this type of accomodation and was more than adequate to start your day. Plenty of parking and safe. A short 10 to 15 minute drive to Parliament Hill. Exercise room offered sufficient equipment. Overall, great stay. Thanks for everything.

Friendly staff, recently renovated rooms with comfortable beds. Quite clean and modernized.
Breakfast is pretty standard, a few hot items available and the usual other items.
One negative would be the shower. Its the modern style with no door to close but due to the construction of it, water gets all over the floor. It also doesn't drain well and the water pools up to the top of the stall after just a few minutes.
Overall though, a nice place at a good price. Location is fantastic, beside a large mall and many restaurants within walking distance.

The hotel offered everything that we needed.
The complementary continental breakfast was well stocked in a very clean space and well organized.

Very senior seniors staying so a walk in bath was requested and email response was all units have them. Upon arrival front desk seemed unaware of request. Took 3 tries to find correct floor plan. Housekeeping wasn’t even sure. Third try was success.
In the evening no heat. Staff came up and couldn’t make work but gave extra bedding. Next morning maintenance solved issue. Breakfast good. Got 50% off first non heat night. No other issues. Staff kind.

We have stayed here multiple times and it is only getting better. They have renovated rooms that are lovely.
The room we had was spacious. There was a little table with 2 chairs which was nice to use when we had meals in the room. The breakfast buffet was decent with ample choice. There was even oat milk for the cereal.
The microwave and fridge are great for longer stays. The coffee machine is nice to have also.
There are so many dining and shopping options available nearby. The St. Laurent Mall is just across the road.
For a stay in the east end of the city Welcominns is our number one choice.

Our room was on the 2nd floor, and when our toilet overflowed, we were told that all the toilets on the 2nd floor were the same and would be replaced. All floors above the 2nd floor have been renovated. We moved to 3rd floor and the shower only has a partial glass door which means water all over the floor when showering. The mirror steams up because the vent doesn’t work. Plus there’s only one light in the bathroom which is connected to the vent hence noisy. On the plus side, the staff are very helpful. Breakfast was good.

The room used for breakfast is actually a meeting room. It is fair too small, with tables and chairs being too close together. There was only one staff member trying to keep things supplied. It was too much for one person, even though I felt they did their best. Poorly stocked 24/7 coffee/tea bar in the lobby area. Hotel is well located, for getting around the Ottawa area. Prices are fairly good, but the place is in need of renovation.

We have stayed at Welcominns 3 times over the past month and a half and it has been a real pleasure staying there each time. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, with a great breakfast scheduled over a convenient time. Highly recommend!

Quick check-in and quick check-out. Very clean and renovated room.Practical location close to St Laurent Mall. Good bed and spacious room. Breakfast included (I did not take advantage of it). Stayed 4 nights, no problem.

Although in general the room was ok - the room we were in needs a decent renovation - You could smell the old smell of the carpet and there were not enough plugs usable in the room - in all the room needs an upgrade.

"Welcome' was as friendly as a door post. Didn't know breakfast was in the basement, until I was leaving. Soiled towel. Empty pizza boxes and chips in the hall way. Unexpected deposit added to the credit card charge. Other than that it was fine.

Great price. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. The only down sidwa was the breakfast. It was not the greatest. Everything was overcooked and dry. So option b was going out for breakfast.
Can not say enough positive about the service though. The young lady working the front desk was pleasant to deal with and very helpful.
