If you’re looking for an economical overnight hotel with accommodating staff, a warm clean pool (with an inviting jacuzzi) all at a great location! Stay Here!
Only con: the free continental breakfast. could offer a little more on the menu
(ie waffles, packaged muffins, or pastries, etc)

Water pressure for shower was very poor. Shower has overhead shower head as well as a handheld shower. pressure was so poor. The handheld came out as a dribble.

Enjoyed our one-night stay. Front desk people were professional and friendly. Much appreciated. And the breakfast room attendant was attentive and sweet. My only complaint might be that there was a lot of racket outside the building quite early in the morning, around 6:30-7 a.m.

No power when we arrived, but they gave us an upgraded room with a door wall to let in fresh air without us even having to ask. Got recommendations for dinner that worked out and when we returned, the power was restored! All and all a great stay.

Wonderful stay. Staff very knowledgeable about SLO and friendly. If you like clean and quiet this is your place. Close to downtown and wonderful restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay here again .

Overall, we had a positive experience however we were charged for an “early” check in fee even though we arrived less than an hour early. We were also told that our luggage could be held after check out, while we assisted our son with his move to college. Unfortunately, at check out, they were only able to accommodate for 2 out of our 4 pieces of luggage (2 suitcases, 2 carry ons). Other than that, the room was clean, breakfast was adequate, and most staff members were friendly. The location was also very convenient with the freeway on ramp right outside the parking lot. We’d definitely consider staying again.

Desk employee was rude and snarky upon check in. The room was dirty in all the corners or under tables. No towels in the pool area. And when asked for some, took them 45 mins to bring.

Everything was great -- smooth check-in, extremely clean room and bathroom, nice shower, comfortable beds with plenty of pillows, delicious coffee in the morning, plenty of breakfast options included. I couldn't ask for anything more!

This hotel is definitely worth a visit. The property and rooms are very clean and updated. Their prices are reasonable and I will definitely recommend them.

A basic, cleaner hotel that is good for a one night stay, if you don't mind noise.
The first level has the kitchen for their breakfast service. If you care about sleeping after 4:30am, don't stay on the first floor.
I was woken up at 4:30 when the staff began moving sheets and pans around carelessly.
This continued for about a half hour. Because I was unable to get back to sleep, I cut my trip early and left by 5:45am.
First time staying there, and certainly the last.

I loved that they had cookies upon arrival. That was nice. However, there was no early check-in as I am used to, but that’s OK Because I guess that means they were busy. We were able to drive around a bit. The breakfast in the morning was decent. However, the refrigerator in the room kept making noise at night because it wasn’t leveled. Overall, we would stay there again.

This was my best all time choice of a hotel. It was spotless, quiet, the people were so helpful and friendly. The exterior was beautiful. This was better than a brand new hotel. We loved it. We will be back.

A clean and totally fine place. Nice people that work there. The view of mountains has a busy highway in front of it, and the highway is close and noisy. Slightly deceiving photos by the hotel.

Very well kept older hotel. The staff was very friendly, and gave some amazing options for dinner downtown. Just small issues, but wouldnt deter our stay. The bathroom sliding door lock was broke, and wouldnt stay closed. Had tonwedge a washcloth in it to keep it closed. The ac unit definitely needs an update. When i finally got it to come on, it worked good.
Breakfast was good, a small variety of options.
Overall, for the price, im happy with the stay.
