Rooms are blisteringly hot 24/7 due to an antiquated air circulation system. The “air conditioning” system does not actually condition the air. All it does is blow hot air around the room, even on its coolest setting. Spoke to other guests and they had the same issue.
It was so bad I woke up roughly every hour due to the heat. I resulted to wetting a flannel and placing it on me whilst I slept to try and keep cool. Eventually I woke up earlier that I’d like, got fed up, went for an early breakfast and checked out as soon as I could.
Spoke to the front desk and they said the building is incredibly old and is in the queue for a revamp, however it’s a long way down the list.
Staff were kind and helpful, but I absolutely cannot recommend sleeping in this hotel till they do something about cooling the rooms down.

I stayed at the holiday inn for 2 nights the bedroom was comfortable, the hotel had nice bar restaurant area. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. The hotel gym was equipped. I would stay again

Pretty simple one night business stay at the hotel. Short distance from the train station and the business hubs which made commute by Uber or taxi easy.
The breakfast was pretty simple and below my expectations from the peak rate that I paid.

Good hotel in a good location with parking (£15 for 24 hours). Easy walk to shops, restaurants & snow dome.
Room was as expected for a chain hotel, ok but not luxury. Room seemed clear but 1 towel had horrible brown marks on, mud we hope.

Staff were so lovely at the Holiday Inn however we were absolutely gutted to find out the pool was closed when we got to the hotel. It was the only reason we chose this hotel in MK. 3 hours after check in I received an email from the hotel to say that the pool was closed and we could cancel for free

I was disappointed with the stay at the hotel as we selected this hotel only for the swimming pool with my son. On arrival no one informed us that the swimming pool was out of order from the previous Thursday. We found out when we went down to use the pool.
If the holiday inn staff would have informed us in-advanced or at check in but nothing. Poor customer service.
Secondly the rooms are large and very comfortable but the shower water pressure was terrible even for a man getting showered. Would certainly consider staying somewhere else when back in MK.
As I normally stay at the holiday inn shepperton and have never had any issues. So hope this is a one off but it did dampen the trip with my son.

Not aware there was a private event the weekend of our stay. So we didnt get a chance to dine in the restaurant. Which also leads on to question why the staff put us a room the same side of the event. We have a 7 month baby and heard drunk people shouting and singing until 3am. If we knew we wouldnt have booked this hotel

Room was larger than expected, nice and clean. Very hot but there was a tower fan in the room that helped a little. Bed was clean and comfy, pillows were a little hard but at least there were 2 each. Had a room with an internal view into the atrium/bar area which was unusual but nice, natural light came into the room from there.

We had a wonderful evening and the room was immaculate. Restaurant food was excellent. Breakfast same as always.
However, two issues to raise
1) not enough disabled parking
2) duplicate payments deducted from our bank

Staff are great and accomodating. Health centre is clean for the most part. The front desk at the health centre was unmanned both times we used it. Room is nice and spacious, bed is fairly comfortable. However the climate control in the room was totally inoperative, with the room being over 26 degrees everyday, making sleeping quite difficult. Fridge was spacious and a nice addition to the room.

Thanks to all at Milton Keynes Central. It was a refreshing change to meet so many friendly and helpful front of house staff in the same hotel. Myself and my Daughter, both enjoyed our 2 days and would not hesitate to stay again.
