Villa Cora is amazing. It was almost a shame to leave to go explore Florence! The shuttle service made it so easy to get into town and back. The room was beautiful, the garden was lovely and the pool area was immaculate. We loved the staff, they were so friendly and helpful. My wife and I can’t wait to recommend Villa Cora to anyone going to Florence

The grounds, pool and terrace were beautiful. Unfortunately, the service was quite disappointing. Seemingly simple amenities like coffee and tea were assessed as extra charges, the shuttle shut down at inconvenient hours and some of the staff acted as though they were doing us a favor with their service. Not at all the level of service of a 5 star hotel.

This is the most amazing hotel and we can not wait to return and stay again. They treated us like true VIP’s and we were upgraded from a standard room to a junior suite! We felt like royalty and it made our stay in Florence very special. All of the staff were so lovely and helpful - Villa Cora is truly a very special hotel.

This is the most beautiful hotel we have ever stayed at. This is our second time back and I would not stay at any other place while visiting Florence. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable bedding. The staff are all so friendly and treat you like royalty. The food is gourmet. I can't say enough about The Villa Cora. They have my heart!!!

My wife had been working full on for 3 months on a project & we decided to go to Villa Cora to re-charge ! I would say it was the best hotel experience we have ever had ! Karina in the Spa has hands of magic ! And all the staff where amazing and had passion for the Villa & it’s guests which was refreshing! Lorenzo was a stand out here every detail catered for! It’s now going to be an annual trip!

Fantastic. Vanessa and team were an absolute pleasure. The closest I came to a gripe was one or two other guests, and when I mentioned to the team, they had a quiet word, were very apologetic and the issue was resolved. I have stayed in some of the world's top hotels and will return here without any doubt. Thank you to the Villa Cora team for such a wonderful stay.

In an almost dream-like location, Villa Cora is an exceptional place to stay when visiting Florence, Italy. The property presents like a museum. Walls and ceilings reflecting the artistic beauty of Florence. Each room, modernized of course, still retains the feeling of a Medici palace. Breakfasts...more of a banquet than a meal, was excellent but the real excellence comes from the Staff and its desire to attend to your every need. Quality and service are their goals and this makes a stay at Villa Cora a true vacation. And, although located a bit away from city center, the available shuttle and the simply great drivers, add to the stay. Each short trip to the city becomes a little unexpected private tour of this beautiful region of Italy. If you dream of visiting Florence, Villa Cora does its best to make this dream come true!

We were welcomed us to the most amazing accommodations, stunning atmosphere, excellent attention to detail and service, in Florence. Interesting history of the property. Food is great, and the best kept secret is Nicolo, the bartender! Excellent sense of humor, put up with my mediocre Italian, and made some amazing drinks for us, celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary trip.

A little farther from center of Florence (a rather long walk), but a shuttle bus runs enough to help.
Main downside: not cheap (very little is in Florence, especially of the quality of Villa Cora).
