I was traveling with family for the Thanksgiving holiday. I found this hotel convenient to where we were visiting family members. The room was comfortable, the bed was very comfortable and I slept surprisingly well. My only complaint was that the shower head was placed low on the wall requiring me to scrunch down to wash/rinse my hair. The breakfast buffet was sufficient, but the water provided for tea service was not hot enough to brew tea.

This Hotel has declined significantly since last year. The Front Desk staff acted like they could care less if we were there or not. Room was OK, bathroom showing some wear and tear.

Comfortable bed, good location, decent breakfast, needs work in rooms, very friendly, helpful breakfast person which is a 100% turn around from the person that checked us in. We checked in around 9:30pm and were greeted by a rude, grumpy receptionist, which was completely unnecessary. This world can use kindness.

Room was okay at best. The biggest issue I had was the room freshener they used in the room was simply over powering to the point my eyes watered a bit till I got used to it. Also the spicket in the tub had a drip which can become a bit annoying. Rate and staff and location were fine.

My 3 times here. But the bathroom has issues….Room 145.
Shower needs serious cleaning as there was a lot of mold? But grout needs cleaning.
I couldn’t shut off either shower heads, so leaked all night. Toilet flush handle is loose and I had to “play” with it so it would stop running running.
Knowing the room was being used that day (2) days the room was musky until I turned on the A/C was better.
If you have a manager that is following up with housekeeping it’s not do its job. If you don’t it would help to follow up what owners would expect.
Seasonal flowers placed out front were dead which doesn’t give a great first impression as well. Looks run down.

Great stay for the price. We had very close access to Pittsburgh for an early morning hospital appointment. Most hotels in city were either booked or outrageously priced due to Steelers vs Cowboys game on Sunday evening. Thirty minute drive to Children's Hospital was no issue. Good breakfast in morning and close access to many things within Cranberry region.

Old dated property - but it was fine for a weekend steeler game trip.
Everything downtown was $700 - so $133 seemed reasonable. Typical breakfast. Sausage and fake eggs. Clean and comfortable. Comfy bed. Clean bathroom.
I would stay here again if it was the cheapest reasonably decent place close to downtown

Noticed when I book through Hotels.com I am always placed on the ground floor, which I don’t like. The room smelled like either urine or floor wet. I later realized the carpet had been steam cleaned and was wet. I wonder if a pet was in the room.
The overall hotel had a smell, even the lobby.
The outside door into the hotel did not lock so anyone off the street could access the back part of the hotel.
Staff very friendly. Room was clean and a note was left by the housekeeper welcoming me to the room.

Stayed here several times. Hated the fact that the girl at check in was never at the counter. Sometimes waited 15 minutes for her to come out of the back room. And when I asked where the room was (for parking) she would always say "the elevator is there ". This time a wonderful woman Joann was at the desk, very nice and when i asked where the room was, she pulled out a map and showed me

It met our needs. For just an overnight. Comfortable bed, clean room. We had a friend in the area we went to dupper with & we were able to have her come up & chat/catch up on each other's lives. Our room had a sofa & a desk chair, so visiting was easy. The breakfast was good also, helping us start our journey home.

The overall feel and cleanliness felt like a 4/10. It smelled very poor and overall not a good experience.

We stayed for one night in room 268 and were quite unhappy with the room. It smelled quite strongly of mold and the carpet was damp throughout, so cleanliness was terrible. It was clear that there were leaks in the ceiling panels as well.
There were some orange/red stains around the bathroom sink as well. The hallways smelled of marijuana, which was not pleasant.
Thankfully the bed linens were clean and fresh. The water pressure in the bathroom was decent even though the fittings were quite dated.
The breakfast is pretty decent - good options of sausage/scrambled eggs along with waffles, yogurt, juices etc, which is typical for continental breakfasts offered at most hotels.
Overall, this was not a pleasant stay due to the conditions in the room but there are some positives for this hotel.

Nobody at desk at check in, stood around for a few minutes until bartender told me that "she's in the office, she will see you on camera and come out."
Room smelled dank like mold or mildew smell. Carpet felt damp. I asked about getting a new room and was told property was full.
Desk clerk at check out was nice enough.
There are a lot of lodging options in the area, I would put this one low on your list.

The room was dirty, the fan in the bathroom was loud and paint was peeling off the ceiling. There was always a hint of cigarette smell. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stay Away!!! The carpets need to be cleaned and the plumbing needs to be evaluated and/or upgraded. However the beds were newer and were comfortable to sleep in. The staff was somewhat helpful, but turned a blind eye to the constant marijuana use throughout the property. The smell of Marijuana smoke was so strong at times, it would enter the gaps from under the door and fill our room. It was so bad, I had to soak towels and place them around the bottom and sides of door to prevent further smoke from entering our room. I would have changed Hotels, but it is a pain to change hotels under the Expedia website and their customer service was not helpful.

We were driving on vacation. Family needed to spend a night in the area. Clarion Hotel provided good value for what we needed. Will consider this hotel again in future. The hotel chain we usually stay in is now unreasonably overpriced.

The area was safe, and the room was comfy and reasonably priced. If you're looking for a short cheaper stay I highly recommend. The area did smell of marijuana and the hotel had that musty smell but other than that all was good.

The property had a run down feel. Carpet in the hallways need a good cleaning as well as our room. Stains on carpet in our room from dogs doing their business. Mattress had many stains. Room had a musty smell throughout our stay. Staff was friendly.

Very good hotel for exploring Pittsburgh and surround area. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. A/C worked fine and kept things cool. Shower was clean, spacious, and good water pressure. Breakfast had a hot food (eggs, sausage, etc) offering as well standard cold stuff. Staff was friendly. Overall, adequate hotel & would stay here again.

Arrived for one night stay while traveling. Upon arrival no one was at the front desk. I had to knock and wait about 10 min for someone to come out and check me in. Received my room and upon entering the room it really had a musty damp smell. So I went back to the front desk and explained the smell and asked for a new room. I was given the room right next door and it definitely smelled clean and much better.
The stay was very good and quiet. It allowed to rest well before continuing my road trip. The breakfast is as fine the usual waffle maker, oatmeal, fruit cereal, bagels and pastry, eggs and sausage Coffee Milk and juice. The bed was amazing! I slept like a baby! I would stay there again for sure!
