Looked for hotel in Decatur, Alabama and booked me into hotel in Illinois. Called hotel and they told me they would do anything I needed to call Expedia. No answer

I put the "Do not Disturb" sign out all the time. Twice someone came into my room while I was gone and twice they came in before I could make it to the door. The microwave was dirty and breakfast was toast, cereal, waffles, or biscuits and gravy. The gravy was as thin as water. Not up to the standards of a Wynham.

The hotel was clean, check in was smooth and friendly. Good location. My only complaint is they charge for late checkout, and even tho i was given an extra half hour to check out at 1130am, 3 different people knocked on my door at various times. Totally unnecessary! I was out at 1125am

The room itself was very good. The Bed was comfortable, but the blanket and sheets seemed old and discolored. The hall smelled like mildew.
The Breakfast was terrible. There were no danishes, only sliced bread. There was instant oat meal or grits, add hot water. There was biscuits and gravy but the gravy was extremely watered down. There was a waffle maker, but the batter was so thinned down that your finished waffle was hollow on inside.
The lady behind the counter was very slow so we had to wait in line several minutes to check in. We had two couples ahead of us and each couple took 10 minutes. Which means we waited more than 20 minutes before she got to us.
We paid over $80 for one night's stay. We will not return.

After spending 30 minutes to get checked in we were given a room that was a total wreck, the next room was put together but one bed was missing its fitted sheet on top of that the shower only ran sculding hot water...

The staff was completely disrespectful. The rating was a 8 it should’ve been a 1 they were rude and not present. I stay in a lot of hotels and just started using this app to book and there is a good chance this is the last time I ever use it it was absolutely missing leading and terrible.

Check in was a pain. During checkout was asked to collect receipt from Expedia. I had chosen to pay at property, paid at the hotel and why should I collect receipt from Expedia? After some argument I was given the receipt. An experience I would want to forget.

I did not even stay there. I rented this hotel for my daughter for an emergency. She did not show up and I was still charged over $100 for incidentals off of my card which I did not authorize and nobody even stayed at the hotel. I've never heard of a hotel whose incidentals are more than the cost of the stay. It was absolutely ridiculous and rude, never even step foot in the

Check in too long after a long day of driving. Entire place smells like cigarettes but they charge $100 incidentals fee for smoking and damages. A room booked for 2 people and we only got 1 bath towel. Garbage can had old liquor cans in it. Just overall nothing like it was advertised. Staff picking teeth at check in, just no regard for any human decency.

Even though I preregistered with the Baymont email request, I was told on arriving that I should not have done that and that I would need to register with them at the hotel. This meant that I was charged a Deposit twice, in addition to the inconvenience.

It was okay until someone came in the room with Do Not Disturb sign was on the door, I always put the do not disturb sign on the door because I like my privacy and I don’t feel comfortable with people I don’t know coming into my room. I stayed for 1week and the last night I was there I noticed that someone had entered my room, The toilet seat was lowered and they took 1 washcloth and left 1 clean one, they didn’t replace any of the dirty towels?? They also raised the temperature on the air conditioner? The air conditioner did not work well and the 1st night I was there I didn’t sleep well because it was to warm in the room, so the next morning I turned down the air conditioner to 60* and it still wasn’t very cool but I could sleep okay do I kept it there. I was not happy that someone came in my room with the Do Not Disturb in the door!!!

My stay was wonderful. The only problem i had was having to pay a security deposit of $100.00 when someone was smoking weed down the hall and it came into our room. I can't stand the smell of it which made me sick to my stomach and had a headache all night!!! Which was hard on me because we were leaving the next morning. But the hotel itself was good

When we arrived we were unsure whether property was even open. Not a single car there. When walking in first thing we notice is no AC and it smells bad. Room was already paid for through Expedia so knew there would be no refund if we left.Woman checking us in was rude as could be and asked more than once if we had a pet with us which we did not. She asked for credit card for any damages that may occur and $100 was taken out of our account immediately. We did get that back but i had given her our debit card so that money came out of checking until we were home already. Our room smelled bad. Damage was already on a desk and a stain on a chair. What looked like dog food was at our closet door. Hallways had no AC. Temps outside were near 100. We will never stay here again nor will i recommend it.

The front desk staff is extremely rude. When called, talks for 1 minute - then please hold and never comes back to the phone. There's just one lady that staffs the front desk. The ironing board has stains, microwave didn't work, toilet clogged and bath tub clogged too. Rugs are extremely old. The front desk staff gave me a plunger to plunge the clogged toilet myself without even offering a new room. Horrible!!! Will never stay at Baymont by Wyndham Decatur.

Took 20 minutes plus to check in, normal check-in, I’ve dealt with on the regular basis five minutes maybe 10 minutes tops, and the breakfast needs to improve gravy for the biscuits was too water down.

Took nearly an hour to check in with a line of 3 people because the front desk was so disorganized and inefficient. Front desk personnel was more inclined to complain about other guests and deflect criticism than attempt to expedite check-ins. No elevator leading to the 2nd floor, so we had to lug up all our luggage.

Line of people waiting to check in. Took a long time. Seemed like everything was manually done on paper. First room assigned was not what we reserved. It was easily rectified, just seemed disorganized.

Its a little close to the Highway but not terrible. Easy to get to where we wanted to eat.

Registration process was grueling slow. They have difficulties finding our reservation. It takes about 10 min. per customer. There was a long line that went well into the night.(hours long lines).
The king bed had a broken bedframe. Room smelled!! We had to change rooms and that room was a bit cleaner, but also smelled bad. We had to get Frebreze just to spend the night. Walls had stains from spit and buggers. Carpet is dirty. Our "buisness" chair was broken.

Check in took over a half hour. Only 1 person was there before me. Not friendly or apologetic. Rooms were still being cleaned at 9:30 pm when we arrived. Room itself was fine. If I hadn't already paid I would have left.
