Interesting hotel - we booked last minute as had an opportunity for dinner near Modena we didn’t want to miss. The hotel looks like it was recently redone and very nice but just a few oddities... we could open the windows but not the shutters so no natural sunlight in our room. The drains aren’t the best so you had to shower carefully and the sink while modern and interesting made for a somewhat wet countertop. That said the staff was super nice and really the hotel was very nice. I’d probably stay again if in the area again.

WiFi is abysmal after an overly complicated login sequence, breakfast is insufficient, staff is unapologetic. A/C is barely functional and I did see a massive cockroach during breakfast one morning. Not sure how this hotel is rated at 4-stars...

nice clean hotel in a quiet area away from town

Hotel is just outside Modena main town, about 10 mins drive to centre. Hotel has a classic family run feel to it. Hotel grounds are beautiful with good free parking inside the grounds. Rooms are classic looking but very clean and comfortable. Modernised bathroom, comfy bed, kettle and coffee facilities in room. Good selection of continental breakfast with scrambled eggs in the downstairs ristorente. Check in and check out were easy with the help of lovely staff. In fact out 7year old boy forgot his backpack inside the room wardrobe where he had hidden it and we only noticed the next day after leaving Modena and getting to Florence! I contacted the hotel via phone and email and Magereta from reception searched the room found the backpack, arranged for it to be couriered urgently to our next stay on next day delivery!! They could not have been more helpful or efficient. Fantastic service and we sincerely appreciated it. All in all a great hotel to stay. Highly recommended.

Very nice find...charming and friendly. Bathrooms have a few quirks but overall a good spot.

The place was exactly what we wanted to visit some museums in the area.

Bed was very hard, no hot water in the morning so not great. Hotel is pretty out of town with no amenities around that you can walk to so no recommend for tourists

Evrything OK. Great breakfest.

We had our first stay there and got a small room heading to the street , after complaining they wanted to put us in a smoker room, on the third try the chamber was ok Pay attention to hidden costs. We had to pay a local fee at checkout, which was not mentioned before!

In town visiting friends, and needed a place to stay for 1 night. The staff was very nice and attentive. Room was clean and organized. We enjoyed staying and would definitely use the hotel again when in town.

My wife and I have been to Italy many times, but never stayed in Modena. Rechigi Park Hotel is exceptional. We liked it because it is beautiful, small, comfortable, very easy to get to--and, above all has a tremendous staff who pay complete attention to our needs. We love good food, and normally take a lot of time planning where we eat in Italy. This time we knew we would have to put ourselves in the hands of the staff for recommendations. Their recommendations were spot on. We ate at marvelous places each night. When we told them what we planned to do each day, they participated in recommendations on how to get the most out of each trip. One morning when we were the last ones down to breakfast, the person staffing the room made scrambled eggs and ham for us (since what was left was cold and unappetizing), and served it to our table. Even though the hotel is right off of Via Emilia, it was quite because it is out of the city and is bordered by farm land. We would return to this hotel again if we visit this region.

We were absolutely impressed with the dedication and courtesy of the hotel’s staff. They made the difference during our very pleasant stay. Location is not central but if you are driving it is a better option than downtown. We will certainly go back to this nice and friendly hotel.

A classy 4 star. Easy walking distance of City of Art & Culture. Bus ride 1.3 Euros ( pay on bus) to centre of city from outside hotel. Walk to subway is 15-20 minutes in slightly poor area. Can walk to Mestella in 30 minutes but bus best. Good bar and food in hotel . Park outside if have car and arrive early. Recommended even if not in centre.

The staff was wonderful and provided excellent services to us. They made dinner reservations for us and sent us to a lovely restaurant with wonderful food. Would stay again if in area. Rooms were comfortable with breakfast included in a lovely dinning room.
