A great stay at the Citadines Barbican Apart'hotel.
The location was good, close to Barbican tube station, which is convenient for accessing all areas of central London fairly easily. There were a couple of restaurants close by that looked great and were very busy, but unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to try them out. Tesco Express was just up the road for essential items.
Service and staff were brilliant, made to feel welcome from arrival until departure, and received a special gift to help celebrate my husband's birthday.
Our room was a good size, very quiet, clean and great facilities. We were on the top floor, as I had requested, and had a glimpse over the roof tops to the gherkin and other impressive buildings.
It was a great stay, and I would definitely return on a future visit to London.

Amazing service. Was able to check in early and leave our bags after check out as we had a late departure. Amazing location. The only thing was that there was a common entry between two rooms that then split to separate locked doors. This was fine other than the fact that your entire room shook when the other room came home and/or left.

Everything you’d want for a comfortable short stay with a little self catering thrown in . Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Very convenient location in a surprisingly quiet area , yet close to Barbican tube station and a Tesco Express etc. Studio ideal for one person, maybe a bit a squeeze for a couple with luggage

The hotel is clean and comfortable. Staff is polite but do the minimum possible. Hotel will only offer free room cleaning every six days, which seems somewhat outrageous and cheap on their part.

Front desk staff seemed poorly trained, and generally bad at communicating. But I give 5 stars to George, the porter, who fixed my TV promptly and efficiently, so that I could get online.

Actually the location was perfect for both bus and tube users. No problem for me to have the room not cleaned during my stay. It rather made me feel at home. I got muffin and fresh coffee every morning. Washer and dryer were convenient for use.

We stayed for 3 days at the 1 Br suite. The room was big and comfortable. Even the sofa bed was very nice to sleep in. The surrounding area is a little worn, but still lots of local shops and restaurants. Also close to the Metro. Staff were all super nice and accomodating . Highly recommend,.

Excellent location 4 minutes away from Barbican underground. Room was really clean & modern. Pubs, cafes & restaurants nearby as well as Tesco Express. Water in fridge & tea / coffee facilities were good. Booked a twin room but had a double. Air con was a bit noisy. Not an issue as we turned it off but could be an issue in Summer when you need it on.

Woken up at 3am by a faulty alarm in the room. We had to keep the widow open until morning to stop it going off again (that is what staff advised). Absolutely no apology and no recognition from staff about the interrupted night.
