Bed was so uncomfortable. They put us on the floor where they started construction at 6am. On a week day is fine but on a Saturday? Hotel stunk. Sheets were not clean. Went bought my own and left a day early because I was just aggravated

Room was clean and roomy. Was upgraded to handicap room. Was supposed to have walk in tub but didn’t. A little disappointed but okay. For a handicap room the bed shouldn’t be so high for the person with the handicap to get into. The doors to the entrance should open automatically. Also the chair in the room should not roll. A handicap person could get hurt falling. My wife fell but was not hurt.

Clean and comfortable, and a great price for the location. Had some issues with the showerhead that were tolerable, and there was very loud construction directly above us in the morning/afternoon (we went in the off season), but neither of those things soured the experience.

overall I see this hotel as average. However, considering it's in the low price category it's probably very good. Maybe like 4 or 5 out of 5. Location is excellent. Close to what most people would want to see and do in Gulf Shores.

Check in was fine. Continental breakfast OK. Liked the Community Coffee. Television did not work properly for majority of stay. Tub faucet had steady drip. Bathroom also had several crawling insects on floor and tub. Room overall could have been a little more clean. I understand that Microtel is more a budget hotel. However, I was mildly disappointed with accommodations.

First time in gulf shore area! It was beautiful, next trip we will have to stay longer. We were passing through.quaint little room, perfect for the two of us

Quiet place. Lobby smelled amazing but not the hallways or the room. The bed was so comfortable. Definitely could use some remodeling but it was good overall.

The room was ok. Bed was comfortable. Floors were filthy. When I walked around barefoot my feet would be really dirty on the bottom. Smelled like dogs. Hallway smelled like poop. Carpet in hallway was filthy too.

Not a very good experience. It was hot and there was no thermostat to control the temp in the room. Small TV and very drab

We immediatly found small waterbugs in the bathtub and on the wall behind the bed.
There were much larger ones in the morning. The refrigerator was off and warm inside, so when i moved it to see if it was unplugged, i found a used syringe behind it.

the hotel was super clean and smelled wonderful when you first walked in. we were greeted by the sweetest lady and go us checked in quickly. the room was a little small, but that's nothing to complain about. i do wish i could of gotten my apple tv to work but i couldn't figure out how to work the remote to get to inputs. other than that, the stay was great. everyone was so kind and greeted us each time we talked into the building. would stay here again for sure.

The hotel was nothing like the website. The room was dirty. The floor was squishy wet and looked like someone had thrown up on the carpet. The bedskirts were ripped and there was something splattered on the wall behind the nightstand. The trash worker was very rude to my son and told him to use common sense and not put trash in a can that had just been replaced.

Hotel breakfast isn't much to choose from. Hot breakfast isn't offered. Other then that the hotel is clean, safe, and only 15 minutes away from Gulf Shore Beach.

The hotel smelled damp, the first room was not clean, the second room that we walked into was already occupied and the third room had stains all of the sheets so we left and had to find another hotel at 1am after travelling 6 hours to get there. Will sleep in my car before sleeping a night here.

The room was nasty and I was only able to get fresh towels once for 5 days with 3 people... Ant's wear all over the pool area and I was bitten so bad I had to go to the doctor and pay outta my pocket

Even though the building we stayed in only had two floors, I found it very odd there was no elevator. Room was clean but didn’t have a clean scent.Breakfast options were good, had to walk to the other building though.Very convenient location, about a 4-5 minute drive to the beach.

The room was clean and the beds were comfortable but this was a very noisy hotel and I could hear every movement of the party above me. I didn't sleep at all. The room smelled of mold and the hotel breakfast was prepackaged meals and the dining area smells strongly of cleaning solution. Unhappy with this property so I actually asked to check out early and get a partial refund so I could go to somewhere else. I would not recommend this hotel

The only thing..i thought they should have some type of breakfast even if just orange or bannanna but the coffee was great. It was convient for where it was located...it took us about 15 minutes to the beach..will plan another trip there soon and at the same hotel

The rooms had dirt all over the walls. Closet smell like cigarette smoke also walls in the hallway had red stuff on them. The staff were nice and professional. Just need better cleaning.

Close to the golf course and close to the beach

When it was 90° outside we opened our room to find that the heater was on. The floor was filthy. Had to get a hairdryer from the front desk. Breakfast was in an entirely separate building. Slim options for breakfast. Coffee was old and the pancake batter was sour. We Lucy our trip short by a day.
