Nice hotel. Very comfortable beds. Property is a little older and lacks some of the creature comforts of some of its newer counterparts. But overall, a very nice hotel.

The stay was perfect! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the location was second to none. The pool and hot tub were the perfect end to a long day of travel. We would stay there again.

Beds are wrinkly and not properly made. Both beds makes so much noise with every movement. The worse bed I’ve had in my hotels stay. It was very uncomfortable sleep due to all squeaky noise it makes. I didn’t expect that a high end hotel would have such terrible beds.

A woman from. Front desk. Give my daughter Alloween toys and super friendly. From cleaner to bell boy to front desk and technician, all 10 Stars. I needed the room heat fast, they brought small heater at 3-4 am. So nice ….

The agent who checked me in was courteous and professional. My room met my expectations. I ordered room service. Delivery was quick. The food was good. I had a very good night sleep. Morning check out was seamless.

Excellent location for visiting downtown Ottawa. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Only valet parking available, so can get expensive if you plan to use your vehicle during your stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Lord Elgin. Unfortunately our car got scratched by the valet so we will be taking that up with them for compensation. Other than that it was a great trip!

Great property, and stunning building. Close to everything downtown, and walkable. The only thing I wish was different was the size of the spa tub in the pool area.

Nice hotel, very well located. The one thing i didn't like, was the parking. They only have valet parking, so you can't access your car by yourself. You need to call ahead between 5 and 15 minutes then they'll bring your car, expecting a tip over the pricy parking cost.

I would not return to Lord Elgin. Our room smelled awful! We had to keep the window open the entire time and the light switches were gross. They were not wiped down. Someone touched them with really dirty hands. After paying for the room in full before arriving, they still had to put a $150 charge on my card for incidentals and on top of that valet was charged to card without them saying anything about that. When I checked out all they offered was an apology. The lobby was nice but that's really the only part we enjoyed.

Excellent location for a trip to Ottawa, lovely old hotel with good vibe, staff were friendly and helpful, room spacious, bed comfortable and towels and linen good.

Loved our experience! Easy check in and out. No weird rules and loopholes to deal with.
Pool facilities were great. Hot tub not so clean...this may have been the only downfall.
