Easy to commute downtown to Oxford

Very nice staff who were friendly and polite, bit of a problem with room service, got an engaged tone on the hotel room phone for hours so i had to ring the hotel with my foom to get what i wanted, no phone charger near bedside tables,bulb gone in bedside lamp and big lamp had a European plug socket, telly was ridiculously large, all in all its a nice hotel,just needs improving in a few places, the man that checked me in was really lovely and so helpful

This hotel is very convenient for regular buses into Oxford city centre and was a perfect spot for our two day visit. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was excellent and I really appreciated the gluten free options that were available. The bar and seating area are very comfortable and inviting with a lovely patio area also available. I wasn't happy with the sign saying we had to pay for car parking. Not sure why people with a car should have this additional payment, however, in the end we had the charge dropped. Would definitely put me off staying in future if this was enforced.

Friendly staff , clean room, easy parking, great breakfast and dining menu options. However, the toilet in our room didn’t flush well

Room was excellent. Staff and facilities good. Only gripe was that although parking was advertised there was no mention of the fact that you pay per day to park, even when you are a hotel guest.

Noisy house keeping staff just outside our room. We could sleep due to the disturbed.

Staff were wonderful and friendly. Room was nice and clean. However, bed was slightly hard and the walls are extremely thin.

Our room was affordable yet spacious. We were upgraded to a king size bed, which was very comfortable. A/C worked very well. The tub was deep and narrow - could be tricky for folks with mobility issues to have a shower.

Lobby is neat and cleans as well as the room. The food is very good and very helpful staff at the restaurant

From the moment we arrived our experience was excellent. We were greeted by two young ladies Lillie and Neesha at reception. It was the first time we’d been to Oxford and these two ladies went out of their way to point us in the right direction. The following day, Lillie came over to check if we’d found a few of the attractions we’d wanted to see. Throughout our stay she was so friendly and helpful, from checking we were ok and through to serving us food in the restaurant. She went the extra mile by going to check out in the kitchen about an ingredient I don’t like and if it was in the food I wanted to order. Also, have to say the meal we had was gorgeous and compliments to the chef for that too. The property itself was lovely and clean and just what we needed for our break. Lovely comfy superking bed made it a very restful stay. We came away saying that our fabulous experience at the Holiday Inn really made our short break. Thankyou so much to all the hardworking staff there and especially to Lillie. It was a pleasure to meet you x

Great new hotel with friendly staff with great food

A nice place to rest with the kids after spending time sightseeing and playing around with the family. Breakfast could be improved but the staff was helpful and welcoming.

Well placed for visiting Oxford

One of the best Holiday Inn hotels I have stayed in, room spec was very good and virtually new!

The hotel in general was very good. Service was excellent. My only criticism is that our room was dark as there was a very high hedge about 4ft from the window. The curtains were actually blackout linings and the adjoining door to another room didn't have a lock but a lump of tissue paper stuffed into a hole where the lock should have been. The location was good. Only 10min walk to park and ride into the centre.

Not the greatest location but easily made up for by the super friendly staff. The rooms were clean comfortable and quiet. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was good and plentiful, the park and ride was very close walk, which takes you right into town.

A quit place to stay in Oxford. Excellent restaurant.

We had an enjoyable stay. The staff were helpful in sorting out an issue with obtaining programmes on the TV. Excellent breakfasts and comfortable rooms. We had an issue with car parking on arrival - does it have to be so very complicated? After a long tiring journey the last thing you need is to be messing with a parking apps on your phone, giving information etc. My Iphone won't even let me download the app. We have been caught out before on parking so are extremely careful now, but it seems an unecessary hassle. Wouldn't mind a bit extra on the cost without having to pay daily parking. I realise that the car park is probably managed separately from the hotel, but it is mainly for the hotel's clients.

The Holiday Inn Pear Tree is convenient to Oxford, a short inexpensive bus ride away. Staff are friendly, and the rooms are large and clean. The restaurant is good for all meals, with a hot buffet breakfadt ad an option.

Lovely out of town hotel. Great service both in check in and in the restaurant for breakfast. Room was lovely, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean.

Only issue was access due to lack of signposting and road works

Excellent room, clean and comfortable. All you would need for a few nights stay. Handy for the Park and Ride into Oxford. Friendly staff.

This is a lovely clean friendly hotel. The staff were cheerful and very helpful, including aproova who was a trainee barman. We had the pizza and pint deal and that lasted us all day. Room clean and well equipped, and the breakfast excellent, one of the best we’ve had. An easy walk from the hotel to the park and ride, with good bus routes to Oxford. Overall, really really good and highly recommended

Georgie at the front desk was very professional and did an excellent job. The room we stayed in was newly remodeled and perfect. I liked having a restaurant on site. The staff working in the restaurant at breakfast did an excellent job.
