Great location right across from the train station, walking distance to the cathedral and lake

Great stay at lovely hotel with old time type service (actually people that talk to you and try to help). Even had real hotel key and not only key card.

This is my second visit to Hotel Kaiserhof and I will return for sure. It’s a very comfortable hotel and the staff are excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

Everything was clean and tidy.. but for the price it's horribly tiny claustrophobic space you get. Even the bathroom is such a crunch.. you can't raise your arms in the cubical. Horrible. And expensive.

The Hotel Kaiserhof is located directly in front of the main entrance to Münster's central train station (Westf-hbf). It is close to all the main attractions of the city; The historic main street, museums, great parks & gardens, historic churches, restaurants, university & bishop's palaces, etc. The spa is also great if you're looking to spend a relaxing afternoon/evening in. It looks like the building is undergoing a remodel -- at least of all of their premium rooms. Surprisingly, this was not too disruptive. The construction staff started late and ended early so as not to disturb guests. There is also a nice little library with local art and a fireplace in the event that you want to spend some time reading. The breakfast was included in our stay, though I understand this is not always the case. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. The food presentation was excellent. The taste could stand some improvement (a few things were a bit too oily for my taste), but it is convenient and better than most hotel food. When we arrived for check-in (around 2:30 p.m.), our rooms were not ready. They were willing to find us another room, but we had planned to walk around anyway, so they just stored our bags and provided us with umbrellas. The only critique we had was with regard to the bathroom shower. It was clean, but there was some rust on the floor of the shower that made it look a bit dirty. All in all, though, it was a fantastic experience and we would stay there again.

It was a great trip and the breakfast was very good . But the most negative thing was internet . Very very bad internet . You have also to pay for internet which is stupid in this times. It should be included and should work good in the rooms as well. It’s a 4 star hotel and Internet should work good, otherwise if we take away that negative part of internet it’s a good hotel .

THE ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN AND EVEN THE HOTEL IS NEAR TO THE TRAIN STATION IT WAS QUIET TOO.

Nice central hotel, a bit noisy sometimes remember hear plugs. The bathroom could need a review, some minor things. Wonderful city, nice to walk, run or cycle around

An excellent hotel close to the main railway station and very convenient for all the places of interest in the old town. The staff were extremely helpful at all times and the breakfast each morning during our brief stay was delicious and worth the price paid.The sauna was a welcome relief each even.ing, after a long day spent sight seeing

A very pleasant hotel, and very attentive staff too. The room was very different, and much smaller than the images shown on Hotels.com website - but it was in fact perfect for me. The room was well equipped, and had nice deign touches too. I liked being able to fully open the windows too. The assortment of pillow shapes and sizes was a nice touch, and made it very comfortable.

Great location, within easy walking distance of the old town centre, 5 minutes walk from the train station. Great breakfast buffet. Wifi connection was good. I enjoyed the spa but you have to pay for some of the spa amenities. Bed was comfortable. I would stay here again. Service personnel were very friendly and helpful.

Centrally located and well organized hotel. A very nice and impressive breakfast. Even tho it is located across from the train station, it’s a safe and nice area.

Not my first stay at the Kaiserhof. Everything about this hotel is exceptional, particularly the staff who are brilliant. As the hotel is directly opposite the Hauptbahnhof, there is a little noise from outside, but it isnt intrusive in any way. I will always choose the Kaiserhof when I am in Muenster in future!

No coffee maker in the room however the hotel is one of the best hotels in Münster

The photo attached to the single room I reserved online was not of the single standard room I got when I arrived. Their standard rooms are tiny, face a very busy street, with several bus stops along the street. Cigarette smoke from the street carries into the room if you open the window. The shower stall has standing room only, even for a slender person. The carpet was old and dirty. They don't provide irons, you have to take clothes down to a ironing room, which is a large bathroom with an ironing board on the first floor to iron your clothes. My room was on the third floor. No breakfast with a standard room. Price for my four nights was about $120 per night. I think you can find a better place at this rate in Munster.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful with travel arrangements via Train, of which is within walking distance from the hotel, in addition to many restaurants and shopping. I highly recommend this hotel

This is a beautiful property with a caring staff in a great location but. The safe is too small; it will not hold a laptop. There is a short step into the bathroom. If you get up at night you will either trip or stub a toe - not a good design and finally the mirror in the bathroom is set behind a ledge and is blocked by either the sink of toilet so you really cant get close to it. Otherwise the hotel is fine. The room we had was quiet and spacious with a good HVAC. I would really have liked this hotel but for a 4-5 star hotel the annoyances should not have been there. I should also add the internet was fast and free but required too much signing in- it should have been easier

In town as a journalist to cover the opening of an international art event and completely sidelined by the inoperable wifi. Some nickel-and-diming over small things. No acknowledgement from staff. Both episodes leave a bad impression. Too bad because the building itself is nice and in an extremely convenient location to both the Bahnhof and central Münster.

There was no separate shower, instead, part of the bathtub was sectioned off by a glass panel to be able to stand in it to take a shower. There was no iron and ironing board. The curtains on the windows were several plastic panes that let the light through were they would not overlap well.What surprised me was that there were no little samples whatsoever. I was okay with there not being a shampoo sample, etc. but I needed some q-tips, and a piece of cotton. I figured it was a mistake and asked about it at the desk. I was told by the front desk that they would bring me some, but that never happened. When I mentioned that at check-out, I was told that I had booked through Expedia, so those necessities werent part of the room rate (!). I was so displeased with the room overall, and having to go shop for basic necessities, that I decided to check out a day early. The man I interacted with at check-out was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I have never seen anything like it. Also, while I expected that I would be charged for the night I would miss, I noticed later that they charged me for the rollaway bed that would go unused. I guess that if they save money on q-tips, it shouldnt come as a surprise that they would do that. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere - I sure will!

Perfect hotel within walking distance to the rail station. Great Location.

We needed to add two beds and the staff was very nice to accommodate our request. Very quiet at night.
