Excellent choice for the night after a late ending concert at the Montreux Jazz Festival. We could take the special night train from Montreux to Lausanne at 01:19am (20minutes), then walk down 6 minutes to the hotel. Safe place, well located.

Wonderful

We had a comfortable room with a small balcony from which you see the lake. The hotel is located very close to the metro and you get a free pass so can easily jump on and off.

We had the most comfortable stay at the boutique! It’s located right off the metro so traveling around the city could not have been more convenient. The boutique itself was stunning and the hotel staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was memorable! Very special thanks to Yulia and Maeve for recommending and booking our train ride through Lavaux! It was such a sweet gesture.

Fab hotel. Really convenient location.

Our experience was terrible, the towels smelled horrible and were terrible quality. The Room was the smallest room I have ever seen. Regardles this property was chosen because of proximity of the Hotel Beau Rivage where we had several events. We did not expect anything extraordinary as we are very aware of hotels and pricing, nonetheless the maintenance and conditions were not up to the level of a basic inn. The day of the big wedding we were attending, the AC on the whole property was damaged. And we had to leave all sweaty and perspiring to an important formal event. Overall I am extremely disappointed on all experienced in this hotel.

Such a great spot - convenient to the metro and to the waterfront. We had some noise issues in our room but otherwise a great stay.

This hotel is centrally located. I had stayed there many years ago and it has not changed and kept its high quality standards. I recommend it for business as well as personal travels.

Love the location next to the metro and the extreme helpfulness of the front desk personnel. We enjoy this hotel so much that we stayed two additional days there beyond our initial reservation.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. There were no food or beverage services during the day and evening. We did not make use of the breakfast service. Would stay here again, especially as the main metro line runs by the hotel.

The hotel was located in an excellent part of the city and was very easy to travel due to the metro located next to the hotel. The hotel itself is comfortable, It’s old but needs a bit of refreshing. The staff were very courteous. Overall we had a good stay.

We had the most amazing hotel visit ever in Switzerland and we have been coming for many years, but this was by far the best. The friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness, the bedroom facilities were all just perfect! We are so grateful to you ss you have made this the perfect holiday! Thankyou!

Nice neighbourhood and the property is nicely maintained. The room I stayed was very small and barely any room to open up a 25” luggage on the floor. Even though there was 2 beds, the room was more for one person.

Our stay was great! The hotel is right next door to a Metro stop. Easy to get to the main train station (2 stops north) and the lake (2 stops south). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Best of all, the room had air conditioning, as it was very hot while we were there!

All of the above, my third stay in this hotel.

When I made the reservation I said to include breakfast. I prepaid for the room including breakfast. At check-in I was told it didn't include breakfast and they wanted to charge an additional $25 per person just for breakfast. That would have been $50 more!!!!

I was not able to stay, as our 3 years old kid had to go last minute to the Emergency. The reason why I gave a bad rating is that the hotel had 0 understanding toward this emergency. I understand that i was on non refundable rate and that a hotel has a business to run and that they could not re-sell my 2 nights, but i was hoping a minimum tolerance and hospitality mindset. I was not asking for a refund but at least for a partial credit for a futur stay. They said no. I was excited to stay at this hotel, but they have a real lack of hospitality mindset and surprising from a person that stay 100 nights a year in hotels

The staff were wonderful. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable and worry free. They booked cabs, held and delivered packages to us, kept our room immaculate and always greeted us each time we arrived or departed the building. We loved that a Métro station was right next to the hotel and a Métro Transport Card was included with our room. We used it frequently allowing us to explore many parts of the city where we also walked a lot. Since Lausanne is on a hill, you’re either going up or down and the Métro was a good option. The hotel is located halfway between the train station and Lac Léman. There is a lovely café just a few doors down and plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. The restaurant at the Carlton Lausanne Boutique Hotel is superb and they also serve a very tasty breakfast buffet with a wide variety of hot and cold choices. This was the perfect base for our week’s stay in Lausanne and we will definitely stay there the next time we’re in Lausanne.
