The best hotel in BA!!!!!

Beautiful property

we stayed there for two full weeks in a suite. first week in the old part and the second in the newer part. the property is stunning and nothing short of gorgeous. that said, this is not a five star situation. some things you will encounter: - no one greets you or helps you with your luggage upon arrival, up and down the stairs (no ramp) as 4-5 men in black suits (called “security”) watch you go up struggling two flights of steps. - no one helps you with the door getting in or out of cars, nor with an umbrella when it’s raining and you are with multiple bags. - the wait staff at all of their dining options is hospitable but with an edge. everything you ask for (one example of a thousand was “do you have black tea?”) is met with a surprised face or a NO. they know and have black tea, but their attitude is to gaslight you as a first response. (“you want a black tea bag?”) - they can’t help you with a reservation, not even with the restaurant down the street, nor with currency exchange - spa: the pool is so pretty! the massages are THE WORST EVER. EVER. - i messaged them through the expedia app about early checkin, hotel pick up, etc and they NEVER responded. - towels are rough, shampoo & soaps are bad quality, toiletries are better on an airplane. - mattress in our bedroom had a sinkhole. - there’s a dog barking 24/7, crying for his life. while you sleep, eat, get the massage, watch a movie, YOU WILL HEAR THIS DOG BARK

The hotel was beautiful and set in a perfect location in the city. Near great food and shops

Amazing service!

Check in was later than 3 PM and it took 2 hours for our bags to be brought to our room. This was after several requests.

I love this hotel, which has a lovely garden between two buildings.

Beautiful hotel in central Recoletta. Spacious rooms with all the conveniences. Loved the indoor pool for relaxing before/after exploring. Professional and helpful staff, especially the concierge.

We had an excellent stay. Great property. Nice location. Some staff were excellent and some not so much. Sometimes we waited a long time for service or answers on inquiries. Our expectations when paying these kind of high rates were not met.

Conditions and attention to details are remarkable

Located on a beautiful street in the Ricoletta neighborhood, central to anywhere you want to go. The staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are very large and spotless.

The hotel is good, but overrated. The staff was unprepared and terrible since the check-in (including the General Manager, who was not available to solve a serious problem during my stay). It was a really unpleasant experience. I will never go back.

This is the mist beautiful and luxurious property in all of Argentina! It is a beautiful palace alongside a modern comfortable hotel. The service is outstanding! Well worth the price.

Peaceful atmosphere with hepful pleasent staff with excellent cusine and unobtrusive security

Hotel is fine, although pitched as a classic old school hotel the reality is that they put you up in a typical Park Hyatt box. Unfortunately broken glass in the carpet of my room caused an unfortunate accident.

Was told by a local that this property is the best in the city. I believe it. Bartender Andrew in the Oak Bar excelled as well as several of the breakfast staff. Will definitely stay here again when back in BA.

being located in a. palace, this hotel has a nice grace and flavor

The hotel is amazing with great restaurant options and amazing spa. Rooms are fitting for a palace. Front desk staff was very friendly and bellman Robert was extremely nice and helpful and treated us like royalty. The breakfast staff and afternoon tea staff were friendly but very slow and unorganized. Took forever to get food and bill and my breakfast came incorrect every day. The bar permitted smoking which is very unfortunate and the entire lobby smelled of cigar smoke. There was also hammmering at all hours including 2:00 am and starting again at 8:00 am. Unfortunately these issues ruined an otherwise perfect experience.
