Nice clean hotel serving an excellent breakfast buffet. Staff were kind and helpful. There are limited dining options where we walked to look for dinner. However when you walk further along the harbour, there are lots of options. We misunderstood directions.

Building looks great very close to the port and restaurants. Breakfast was fantastic.

A nice hotel, in the center of the city. It looks very beautiful from the outside but there are some things that wouldn’t work in the rooms. TV was tiny small. The sink in the bathroom wouldn’t run properly.

Very comfortable hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room nicely furnished. The bathroom was a little dated but all worked very well. We had table service (due to Covid) at breakfast and we we’re made to feel very welcome, leaving well fed.

Very friendly staff, especially the waiter. Easy parking and very convenient for the ferry.

Decent hotel but in need of a refurbishment.

Initial impression, based on drive to hotel and immediate vicinity, not good as it felt run down. However once we walked around we realised that hotel is in a great location between old and new Volos. But still, some care could be applied to car park in-front of hotel to give a much better impression. Hotel facilities fine, comfortable place to stay with large room and bathroom. Breakfast selection decent and all staff efficiently friendly. However it somehow didn't feel uplifting - it could feel much better with just a bit more attention to detail, better lighting and 'happy' music.

Area is under construction in a couple years it will be a lot better

Volos Palace is located close to the centre of the town and just across the port. It is an old fashioned hotel with spacious rooms. Facilities are abit old and worn but clean and comfortable. Our sea view room was really a view of the industrial part of the port. Staff at reception could have been more helpful by offering assistance with luggage.

Everything was just OK

Fantastic place to stay. It is close to the harbor, restaurants and a park right across the street. Everything needed is within walking distance. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Room appeared to be redone recently. We were originally booked somewhere else about 20 minutes from town, but changed due to the location, lack of parking and "path" to drive to that hotel. So glad we switched!

No secured wi-fi; no proper working wi-fi; no room service, restaurant only carried 2-3 dishes for lunch/dinner. Staff was friendly and tried to do what they could with the resources they had. Location was great and room was very clean.

The hotel was near the city' s center but in a quiet location. The room was spacious and very clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast was decent and the staff polite

The hotel is one of the better ones in the area, but it’s in need of some serious renovations. Staff is friendly and accommodating .

Dated hotel; feels and looks tired. I question its 4/5 star rating. Otherwise polite staff ok for a brief stay if you book an affordable room. The area around the hotel used to be nice... now not so much. Don't get me wrong its safe but feels like the area is deprived.

For such a great location, it's a shame the view from the balcony was not great, the space in front of the hotel is almost like a dump area. Aside from this, our stay was really nice, the staff was really helpful and friendly, the breakfast was very tasty, the rooms clean (although they need a bit of modernisation), the lobby was nice and cosy, and most importantly the distance to the beach is a stone throw!

A new hotel with adequate size room large bathroom. I stayed 8 days and I must point out a few recommendation that if followed,would certainly make this hotel,a nice place to stay. First of all the internet facilities inside the room is not working as it should and makes you frustrated every time you need to log in.Secondly,the tv sets are old and need replacement but more important than the sets themselves its the reception of the channels which is poor in a digital time. The bed mattress its hard and when you wake up you think that you run a marathon. The staff were really friendly and they would go out of their way to satisfy you. Loukia, a breakfast attendant was really superb looking after you.The manager of the hotel was also very attended at all times but she looked a bit low as she was trying to help around the breakfast area. She has so many duties much more important to take care of. The buffet itself was not bad but certain items should change such as the fruit juice. Plenty of oranges in the region,serving a water mix orange subsidised juice its not for a 4 star hotel. Overall I must say that it was an average stay inside a very nice looking premises.
