This had to breathe the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It had no window, no air conditioning, no fan, the elevator did not work, and it was like a little square. Just a horrible experience!

My husband and I had such a great time staying at Hotel 1110 for our anniversary! It felt more catered to than a regular hotel because of the personalized rooms, minimal number of guests, complimentary made to order breakfast, and private rooftop bar. It has great views of the ocean and is in a location that is fairly walkable. We stayed in one of the smallest rooms, but the bathroom was nice and spacious, and the small space of the whole room was used very well. Room service made our bed and gave us new towels during our stay, which was nice to come back to. The breakfast was delicious with several options to choose from! They were top quality meals and definitely a highlight of the stay. One thing to add, it would be nice for them to install screens in the windows so cool air can come in, without bugs coming in. Overall, a nice stay and a fun and unique experience.

Very nice accommodations. Great breakfast!
Nick, the owner is very sweet.
We will be back.

Always love this place. Very intimate, family-owned, great personal service, cool rooftop bar and really nice included breakfast. Rooms can be on the small side, but it’s very reasonably priced for the area without sacrificing quality. Tony the owner/manager is the hardest-working man in Monterey!

I wasn't so sure about the place in the beginning because we had a hard time finding it. Once there, everything was perfect. Breakfast was delicious and staff was amazing.

Hotel 110.
The hotel bills it self as a romantic boutique place to stay and there are spot on. The hotel feels like it was transplanted from Paris of 100 years ago, but with all the modern amenities we all love. Like instant hot water for the soaking tub , WiFi and comfy robes.
The services was excellent and you can tell that they are very proud of their place with good justification.
But the best surprise was the included cooked to order breakfast. Home Made Popovers and marmelade:) Yum

This isn’t really a hotel, it’s more of a bread and breakfast. Honestly it feels kind of like a scam. It advertises as a four star hotel, and that’s what I was expecting. It’s my fault for not doing the homework (Reddit describes a room as “microscopic” and they’re on point). What kind of four star hotel has no elevator, desk in the room, or air conditioning? It’s run like a small business and not one in the hospitality industry - the manager/owner Tony is polite but honestly not particularly helpful or welcoming. He admitted that he only opened the door for us because he thought we were delivering water. Maybe I look too young or unimportant, I don’t know. We had bikes (heads up, although the hotel advertises its proximity to the bike path, no bikes are allowed in the room), and when we asked where to leave them, he told us to leave them outside on the patio. There isn’t a bike rack there or honestly even space for two bikes. We told him this and he just said “well, sorry.” No refunds of course, you’ll see this in other reviews as well. Ultimately I guess I should’ve read all the one star reviews because they’re pretty accurate. One said that they gave two stars because they stayed elsewhere and came back for breakfast which was cute. I concur, breakfast was cute so two stars. If they advertised like they were a BnB or something, it would’ve felt so much better. The evacuation plan on the back of the door still has the name of the previous inn on it, which only further makes

This hotel is a quaint little gem. From the moment we walked in, we were instantly comfortable and knew we were in a special place. The website says each room is thoughtfully curated - you can choose your unique room when you book online. Our room was cozy chic with a comfy bed, pillows, a Dyson fan, heated floors in the bathroom - other than being a bit small, the room was great. We were lucky enough to have dinner on the rooftop the evening we arrived and the included breakfast the following morning in the restaurant on the main level. The menu for breakfast is made to order - none of this continental breakfast "buffet" bulls**t, and it was superb - everything about our stay felt elevated. Tony, the front desk guy, server, host, room attendant, bell boy, concierge, and all-round awesome guy, will make you feel appreciated and important - you can tell he loves this place and takes pride in it. Wish we had more time to stay a few nights instead of just one. If you're in the Monterey area, this should be your go-to accommodation.

The rooms are basic but clean. It’s a quirky hotel with friendly service and a nice rooftop bar and breakfast. Compared to other hotels in the area it was a bit cheaper but like anywhere in the US it was expensive for what it was.

We love this place, and we look forward to coming again! It's quaint and French inspired, and even the rooms are on the small side, they have good modern beds and modern amenities, like well-functioning bathroom fixtures, very well-lit bathroom mirror, and full-equipped TV with internet access to YouTube and other online streaming services. The staff is kind and thoughtful, and above all, the French and NorCal inspired breakfast is spectacular (no really! it's that good!). Special thanks to Tony and everyone!

Always a great stay here. So quaint and welcoming. Definitely a hidden gem from the rooftop bar to the amazing breakfast that is included. Everyone is friendly. Great experience!

If you are expecting the Hilton, you probably won’t like your stay. That being said, I love eclectic boutiques and this was not a disappointment. It looked like the pictures, smelled good, and had an incredible staff. I stayed in room 207 and it was cute and had necessities (bed, closet, restroom, hair dryer, soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner). All other amenities are available upon request. A delicious breakfast is included in the price of the room and includes tea, coffee, orange juice, fresh fruit, pop overs, and an entree of your choice. The rooftop bar and grill was delicious with great drinks.
The room was a bit smaller than expected but we didn’t stay in the room much except to sleep. The fireplace was a nice touch and really warms up the place. There was only one window so it was a little dark and got a little stuffy at night. They do provide a Dyson fan in case it is needed. Parking is tight and costs $15 per night but I called ahead and they reserved a spot for me without hesitation. Overall, I would recommend this location and would stay again.

Very close to many attractions in Monterey, received reserved parking secluded behind the building, but note that the hotel has a few dozen rooms and only 5 spots in the back, so we felt lucky to secure one.
Hotel staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We had made reservations at a restaurant in town but I wished I had just ate at the rooftop restaurant at the hotel after discovering it for drinks later that night. The staff at the bar/restaurant were excellent and the drinks and desert we tried were great.
Our room was on the smaller side but this is a historic building so we didn't compare it directly to something like a modern hotel, rather more of an experience. The rooms were decorated in a vintage style and were clean, with several modern amenities. The heater was nice but a bit difficult to get it to continuously run. The shower had many jet options but the heating was every inconsistent and a bit frustrating, albeit having no shortage of very hot water. We had a spa tub but did not try it. Bedding was clean and the bed/pillows were comfortable. I only wish there were more outlets.
The included breakfast was excellent along with the staff serving. You are waited on like a restaurant, not a buffet. Having selected a reserved time slot, we did not have to wait at all, same with the bar.
If you’re looking for a different type of stay in your travels and like more eclectic decor, vintage vibes and a more personal experience, we recommend Hotel 1110.

We went here for our anniversary and given complementary champagne for our room Service was great, and we were made to feel special. This place added to our experience while being in Monterey. The hotel is very boutique. Don't come here if you are looking for a Best Western experience. The breakfast was amazing too! I loved the restaurant on the roof as well. Also the bike trail was across the street, which made it easy to ride our bikes to the ocean, cannery row,and to town to the near by brewery.

So glad we stayed at this hotel, we already talked about going back! The staff is great, rooms are very clean and cozy. Breakfast was delicious! We also tried the Lindarose rooftop restaurant, definitely a must if you stay there! Also great location, only a few minutes walking from the Old Fisherman's Warf
