This one is an absolute gem! The evening front desk personal(don’t get his name) was super! Extremely helpful. The property was charming. Room was small which was no problem. It was well taken care of and very clean. Upstairs terrace and the observation area were a plus. I give 10+.

It is a perfect location to visit Arequipa. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. It is very clean. The breakfast is great. I definitely recommend this place.

This is such a lovely property in a great and walkable area. The staff were so helpful and friendly! The breakfast was delicious too!
We stayed in a lot of hotels around Peru but this was our favourite!

The staff was really helpful and nice!
The room was nice, maybe a bit old. When it was raining, the water came in through the window (definitely don’t recommend keeping your luggage close to the window as everything will get wet, as ours did). The elevator was really loud, it could cleary be heard to the room.
The breakfast was really nice! You can pick something from the menu every morning.

Good place to stay. Clean, very safe, and the breakfast is chef-like. I gave some fours for a little noise tthat comes from other rooms through the air duct. One guy in particular was a loud talker 24/7. Not much they can do about that.

The front desk staff were super helpful and friendly.
We really like the hotel location being next door to the main plaza and within walking distance of most interesting areas.
You can easily pop back into the hotel for a bathroom break or a quick nap.
Highly recommended and we certainly stay there again should we vist Arequipa again certainly

Great location right next to the main square. Room and bed really good. Breakfast good. Its a bit of an oldbuilding so there ard noises and i was on the street side but it didnt bother me. Would recommend and eoulx definately stay there again.

Love this little hotel,or Boutique . their staff and services were very friendly and ready to help us with ALL our questions. Our room wasn’t huge, but was very confortable and clean. Our breakfast was ready to go when we need it early then normal hours or very healthy when we eat over there. It’s very convenient, closed to the Plaza , market, restaurants etc.

Prime location half a block from the Plaza de Armas. Close to everything. Breakfast was amazing, truly 5 stars. Comfortable rooms and beautiful rooftop for lounging and photos with perfect view of the Misty. Affordable price. My family and I are American but were born and raised in Peru. This hotel caters to both locals and tourists. Very happy with our stay.

We had very limited time at the property but the rooms were great, staff friendly and a lovely courtyard we wish we had more time to enjoy.
We opted for the pack up breakfast as we had an early tour, they provided a lovely breakfast and also a great cup of coffee.

An excellent hotel that is well-managed by a kind, friendly, and helpful staff. The manager, Alcides, is so accommodating. The woman who prepares breakfast is a treasure, and the hotel cat, Picchu, is a cutie. I enjoyed every facet of my stay except it was a bit cold at night and the portable heater didn’t help much. Also, there should be a few more kitchen cooking utensils. Otherwise it was an amazing hotel.

Great stay in Los Tambos. The staff was very profesional and accommodating. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. The rooms are as shown on pics. Overall, it was a really pleasant stay.

Breakfast and breakfast staff were amazing. I found the behavior of the desk staff surprisingly cold, perhaps it’s cultural. They never greeted me before I did. Not a problem. Very clean overall. My sole regret is the lack of sound insulation. Even with ear plugs you can hear everyone around you.

Los Tambos was a winner from the start. Prompt personal communication from booking including providing for very efficient and cost effective airport transfer. The location could not be more ideal with the Plaza de Armas, city centre attractions, restaurants, supermarket and pharmacies a few steps away. The hotel is warm, lovely decor and well thought out rooms; everything you need to be comfortable. Complemented by very courteous, professional and accomodating staff. The breakfast provided as complementary is impressive. A wide variety of choices, all freshly prepared in no time and beautifully presented. Not to mention the taste! Great way to start each day. Me encanta Los Tambos!!

It was a very nice comfortable hotel. The included breakfast was great and on occasion when we left very early in the morning they made us a lunch to take with us!

Los Tambos is a cute small hotel just off the main square of the historical district, great location for exploring the best of Arequipa.
We stayed three nights and enjoyed good sleep on comfy beds, bathrooms with good shower pressure & hot water.
We had a superior room which was def bigger but looks out on a busy street. Not a prob except the festival night.
Great 4th floor breakfast room with made to order options from omelettes to vegan to fruit crepes to breakfast sandwiches. The morning we went on a super early day trip they had great lunch bags for us.
Loved the 5th & 6th floor decks where we took drinks bought at the corner store for breezy down time.
Every member of staff from reception to breakfast to maids to bell boy were lovely. The staff here was the best in the 6 hotels we have used in Peru.

The location was very good. Rooms were ok, clean and good space. The staff of this hotel was at five star level. They were attentive and carefully addressed minor details during our stay. I would stay at this hotel again.

This trip was for our 1 year anniversary. When we arrived there was chocolate, a card and letter from the general manager on our king size bed. On Our anniversary the restaurant staff made us this crepe to celebrate our day!

Overall the staff are extremely helpful and pleasant. The room we booked was really beautiful but after one night we realized it was very noisy as it was overlooking the street and we requested to move. Our second room was much quieter although smaller. If you don’t like traffic noise request an interior room.
Breakfasts are ordered from a menu so be prepared to take the time to be served. Our last morning we ran out of time to eat prior to going to the Airport. We asked for the granola/fruit/yogurt option thinking we would get it quickly. We were advised we would be served in order of when we arrived in the dining room even though we did say we had to catch our cab to the airport. 30 minutes was not enough time to get breakfast which was frustrating.

Excellent location within steps from Plaza de Armas and safe streets to wander on any time of day. Excellent service. Breakfast was the best we ever had in Peru served by two hard working friendly gals.
