We loved our short stay . Beautiful boutique hotel in a great location . Valet parking made it easy to get our vehicle . Room was comfortable . Lighting is moody . Easy to get an Uber right outside door but also walkable to many great coffee shops and restaurants . Would stay again .

Any time I stay over in Calgary - I stay at this hotel. From multiple business trips to friend’s birthdays - each time is perfect. The location is great for walking to nearby shops, cafes, restaurants. The staff is amazing from the minute you park, valet - front desk to housekeeping. They genuinely want you to have the most comfortable stay.

This is our first trip to Calgary. Because the hotel is across from the Calgary Tower we are always able see our way back to home base. Our corner room is sparkling clean and the bed cozy! The room is equipped with a Nespresso coffee maker and real cream, morning heaven!

Every staff member at the Le Germain hotel was fantastic. From doorman, front desk, bartender and restaurant staff. Must visit as it is in prime location for downtown Calgary.

Drinking water in hall dispenser raised some safety concerns due to unmonitored access. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Entry access was challenging due to congestion in area and limited space to maneuver vehicle.

I wish I remember the gentleman’s that checked us in but he was wonderful! It was our first time in Calgary and at first, the room he gave us was by the alley (where all the garbage cans are and we had experienced that before in Hawaii when the garbage truck came early in the AM, it was very noisy) and we ask for another room. He was very accommodating and gave us another room. Thank you and we appreciate you!

the rooms are really dark, even with all the lights on. the location is great, directly across the road from the tower. but it is the main road so... the hotel was nice but it wasn't to the standard i expected for the rating, in truth a premier inn is better, especially the bed, we barely slept. the spa is a sauna only so disappointing. the fridge is packed with chargeables, but only two tiny milks, but as we only got 1 coffee cup and 1 pod...
overall the staff were nice but the place was dismal and disappointing.
the location was great though, one street from many bars, a short walk to the core shopping mall, even if the area has lots of homeless there, it was a good place to start.
We were told by several locals that the restaurant wasn't nice and was overpriced so we ate out and had little trouble finding good food at very reasonable prices (about half of what I pay in London, UK)

It would have been nice to know the roads around the hotel would be closed for a parade. We had a morning flight but had to get up very early to avoid having our car blocked in. We wouldn't have stayed there if we'd been told ahead of time.

Great stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—right in the city center, close to Calgary Tower and Stephen Avenue Walk. The room was clean and smelled nic. The staff were friendly and made me feel welcome. Highly recommend if you're visiting downtown Calgary!

Ended our Canadian Rockies vacation in Calgary for one night at Germain. Loved the modern vibe but noticed mold in the shower and the wood slat blinds did little to keep light out of the room. Location was A+ though!

Room and bathroom were spacious. The room furniture was outdated. Desk chair was old and unsteady. The carpet on floor was rough and old. Usually this type of carpeting is used in hallways or high traffic areas. It was pitch black so I can only imagine how dirty it was since I don’t believe they shampoo it between check ins. Disposable slippers should have been provided. Staff was great except for one female bartender in the restaurant who was rude. Hotel should invest in updating rooms. Valet parking was also on higher price side $50 per day and no near street parking available near by.
