This hotel is in a great location with an excellent staff and amenities. We’d definitely stay here again on another trip to London. Some rooms are snug, but clean, comfy and quiet.

Outstanding service from the hotel staff - they were amazing from check in to leaving. They couldn’t do enough for us. Jerry in particular was so friendly and went over and beyond. Fabulous location and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Close to South Kensington station and lots of great restaurants around. Rooms are very small with very little open space, but that is to be expected for big cities like London.

Loved our stay at the Ampersand. The hotel is conveniently located just steps from S. Kensington tube station. The rooms were tasteful though the carpeting seemed old. Staff were excellent as was the science-themed afternoon tea and room service. Definitely recommend a stay here!

The negatives - room slightly rundown in places, but still beautiful. Parking is expensive (~£70pn) and it’s a bit of a hassle if you have a pram or need accessibility.
However, i would still stay here again!

It is a cute, boutique hotel a block from a metro station, near the museum area. The area is very safe, you can walk 10 min to Harrods and many cafes and restaurants. The staff was very helpful and kind. Bed was comfy, they use the Malin & Goetz brand for shampoo/wash which is one of my favorites. They have super cute tea room. I very much enjoyed my stay here, I will certainly return to this hotel and highly recommend.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great location close to the Underground station. Very reasonably price compare to similar hotels in London. The staff was very helpful and the Bellman went out their way with getting taxis and any help you needed. The restaurant was had a decent convenient breakfast and was nice for evening drink.

I think this is a fabulous hotel. The neighborhood is lovely w great little restaurants to pick from surrounding the hotel. It is conveniently located from South Kensington station. The hotel restaurant has a nice selection of foods. The sheets, towels, and robes are so very nice. The little fridge area is well stocked w coffee, tea kettle, and fridge w replenishment free of charge. The staff is gracious to replenish. There is a slight rumble due to the underground. I can’t wait to go back!

The staff were always efficient and very helpful. The dining room and food were excellent. The hotel is furnished and decorated in their science and nature theme which is really nice. We found the room and bed to be comfortable.

The hotel was convenient to the South Kensington Tube station, places to eat, the Victoria & Albert museum and the National History museum. Walking to Hyde Park was easy.
The room was perfect. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. While the room was not huge, it was perfect for two adults as we were really only in the room to sleep. Everything was well appointed.
We will definitely highly recommend The Ampersand to friends who travel to London. And when we return to London, we'll definitely stay again.
