The accomidations were exactly as expected from the photos. Having a bedroom and second living room with kitchenette worked well for two couples traveling together.

Stay was comfortable and welcoming. Usually book this hotel for family visits. It is also decently clean. Mall is walking distance about 10 minutes.

Got to hotel very early around 6am as our flight landed at 5am. Requested from the gentleman at reception if we could pay for a room if he couldnt accomodate myself and family so early. Hinestly didnt seem to helpful but at the chamge of shift i spoke to Dorothy and within an hour she checked us in. She is an absolute gem. Property is a no frills no fuss hotel but cleaning could be much much better. Other than that no complaints. Will stay again

Disappointed when entering the room as the sofa was burst and the curtain was hanging of the rail… also one lamp had no bulb and a lampshade in the bedroom was damaged.. someone had tried to carve initials on the bedroom drawers… the room looked very run down on the plus side the bed was very comfortable and the shuttle bus was excellent.

I had looked forward to staying at the Embassy Suites as I loved being there in the past. Unfortunately things have changed and the amenities no longer justify the higher prices. The reception is abysmal and breakfast, while plentiful is nowhere near what it used to be. Add to that the fact that I complained there was no bath gel or that the plug in the bathroom didn’t work, neither were fixed! I’ll pass next trip.

The room was spacious and I thought it would be a lovely stay based on that. But, after arriving from my flight hungry, the restaurant was actually closed during the dinner hour. No surprise it was closed the next day for lunch. But the most annoying part was they automatically charged me for parking. When I saw it on my cc the next morning, I was told that it would automatically “ drop off” my bill. That was not the case and hours later a second employee “ released” the charge. Other reviews mentioned this so I knew to check but … not okay .

I stay at this hotel a couple times a year and I have never had an experience like this. The room was disgusting hair in the tub, floors not vacuumed with crumbs everywhere. The tv not working nor the phone. We were then moved to a different room where the ac was not working and had to stay in the hot room for a night only to be moved again to another room where the floor was not vacuumed again the tv kept shutting off and the lights would go off and come back on. We tried to get room service at 8pm as we had a long day with the baby and did not want to go out but was told that the restaurant was closed although advertised until 10pm. We went to the pool the following day to take the baby we were there for about 15 mins only be told that the pool would be closing for a period of time. The following day we requested the shuttle to go over to the mall as it was hot and we had the baby and we were told that the shuttle doesn’t go over there despite it being advertised on the site. Dorothea and the breakfast staff were amazing on the rest but else for everyone else the customer service was terrible. Attitudes and just not helpful. The maid when she was called to vacuum and bring us some lotion and shower gel and the containers were empty stated that she is not in the mood for English as she spoke Spanish. It is safe to say that I will not be back and as a Hilton member I don’t know if I will be staying at another Hilton.

They overcharged us more than the booking original amount @ hotels.com and than charged our credit card after we left although everything was paid. Be careful and stay away from this hotel

My fiancé and I had a cancelled flight out of Newark and stayed here a couple night until we could get another flight. The hotel was very nice and the complimentary breakfast was a big bonus.

Did not like that the room was not completely cleaned. Inside the sofa sleeper, the previous limen was still on it. Also the door in the bathroom that enters the bedroom wouldn't close. The lock/latch was broken.

Please listen to the reviews that say how gross and run down this hotel is. I paid a premium when my flight out of Newark was cancelled because it looked nicer than other choices, and I could not have been more wrong. Hallways and room had dirty carpet, walls and surfaces - generally really run down. First room I got smelled like smoke and it was obvious the sheets hadn't been changed - they only remade the bed. On the positive, the front desk manager could not have been nicer and got me a new room, which I had never before asked for in traveling, but I couldn’t bring myself to sleep in someone else’s sheets. This place needs an upgrade badly. Do not pay the premium to stay here. It should cost no more than $100 per night. I paid more than double that.

We checked in in on July 27, at approximately 530pm reservation made two months ago. The attendant had to wait to check us in as she couldn't confirm that a room was ready
Bed uncomfortable and clearly very old, linens looked and felt old like they had been sitting in dryer for hours. Pillows flat and again, clearly old. The furniture in the seating area was also very old but more disturbing, very dirty, we could/would not sit on it. The room was dusty, mold in shower, shower glass not clean, dirt on switch plates.
I understand that rooms can't be constantly modernized however, at the very least, they should be spotless between clients. The same applied for common areas, dusty, dirty windows, full trash receptacles.
When we arrived in the morning, we had asked front desk if she could store our luggage until check in later that day. She gave us numbered tags and said she would store them in the locked office beside the front desk. When we returned from breakfast over an our later to ask questions, our luggage was still there, very busy lobby and still one woman behind counter. When my husband asked her about putting our bags away, she responded that they were 'fine there'. He had to insist on waiting until she unlocked the door to store them. At $400 (Cdn) per night, I find this very disappointing

Got in room and food on couch and on floor near window. Called. They cleaned up. Pocket door between bath n bed didnt work. Kept sliding open. Told them. Was told its the trim work. Toilet seat wasnt securely fastened down. Had towels n washclothes for 3 instead 4 people. Had to go downstairs for bedding for sleep sofa. Daughter had issue with bar. Was sent back n forth from bar to front desk for a mere menu then bartendertold her kitchen closed at 9:10 but hotel advertises between 10 n 11pm. Smh was told they do that sometimes whne slow. 50.mins early? And bartender had attitude with her cause she wanted dessert and drink. Then gave her wrong dessert with peanuts thats not stated on menu. Embassy has to do better! Weve stayed there many x. This was worse time.

The room we stayed in was 409, the shower did not work when you take a bath the water was everywhere. The tv did not work had to call the desk at 3am to have someone come check it out. The AC wasn’t working that good either.

Only a mile or so from the airport, but it wasn’t as noisy as I expected it to be.Any room cleaning had to be requested in advance, since they didn’t automatically clean every day.

Check in very poor. Pre checked on line day before and they said it would be 3pm. Arrived at 5 and didn’t have room available till 5:30. Hotel need a bit of paint and updating in areas. But is convenient for airport and shopping. Also room size is very good
