This s is the third occasion we have stayed here when visiting Hull for an event. Very close to city centre for main venues and facilities. Quiet location. Will use again.

Arrived 45 minutes early but checked me in and upgraded me too.Nice,friendly staff very helpful.One morning went down to reception at 6 am for tea and milk sachets the guy on there gave me a pot of tea and jug of milk.

The hotel was ideally situated in the centre of Hull and very quiet considering the location. Parking at the hotel is available free, between 6pm and 8:30am, however if you need longer the hotel will provide a concession for a nearby car park. The staff were excellent and very helpful, at check-in, in the bar/restaurant and for breakfast in the morning.

Beautiful Victorian hotel. Room had loads of amenities and was very comfortable and pretty. Complimentary breakfast was excellent and dining room also. Very gracious staff.

Lovely hotel, 10 mins walk from station and town centre. Given complimentary room upgrade at check in, from single room to spacious double. Lovely cooked to order breakfast, plus other usual options. All staff really friendly, from check in to breakfast staff.

Lovely hotel in a lovely location. We arrived an hour early and not only were we able to book in early we had also been upgraded, this was a lovely surprise as it was our wedding anniversary. I'm so pleased that we chose this hotel, clean, friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast.

We had a nice stay, the staff were so friendly, the room is so clean. We even had a chocolate egg for our kids. Overall, nice stay and we will choose to stay here again. One recommendation, the breakfast can have more variety , as a vegan, I was only limited to baked beans, mushrooms and grilled tomatoes and there was no sunflower butter spread.

Lovely ,traditional hotel in good location opposite Hull New Theatre .Spotlessly clean room with good facilities. Excellent full English breakfast included in price and very helpful staff,everything you could ask for on an overnight stay.

Clean and comfortable with great breakfast. The single rooms are small with tiny bathroom but adequate for me at 5’1”. I think a taller/bigger person might struggle so £81 is absolutely the limit for the size of the room. Nice and warm during the cold snap.

I've stayed here twice now - rooms are quiet, spacious and comfortable, and breakfast is excellent. Easy walk from the train station.

Chose hotel because of parking and lift as we currently have limited walking mobility. However, reception is up a flight of stairs to entrance, and car parking is 300m away, fine if fit but not if you have walking problems or heavy luggage. Best to park outside (2 hours max), check in, leave luggage and go park up.

Second stay in this lovely cozy Victorian hotel. Situated on charming Regency style square close to city centre and old town.
Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very nice and well located in Hull. We had a little trouble with the locking mechanism on our door and when it couldn’t be fixed we were quickly upgraded. Breakfast was lovely and service was excellent.

Blinds in the bathroom didnt work, needed 2 hands to turn the taps on and off. Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom or hang up towels after use. Lovely shower, good wifi. Very good breakfast in a rather beautiful room. Would absolutely stay there again!

A great hotel , we were up graded to a suite, with a sofa, fridge and bath robes with plenty of room for my shopping bags. Parking is free and off site just round the corner, breakfast was good with plenty to choose from. We walked into town about a 10 min walk also same distance to the casino just to round off our anniversary stay. The hotel is in an area next to the theater so very quiet which was great when walking back late from the casino . A lovely hotel i will use again.

Pleasant location on quiet square in the centre of Hull, within walking distance of shops and Ferens Art Gallery. Clean, well-maintained hotel. Very comfortable room. Friendly helpful staff. We would be happy to return.

The atmosphere was warm and the whole place was immaculate
Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. The bathroom was absolutely immaculate and sparkling clean
The bed was warm and sheets were lovely but the mattress was a bit soft for us so we rolled into centre when we turned over
The breakfast was first class. The buffet was all top quality and the cooked English breakfast was all freshly cooked and the scrambled eggs superb. Not a modern flashy hotel but a solid genuine lovely place to stay and the bar was open late which was great after a night out

This hotel is a little gem, we stayed one night in an executive king room which was spacious, extremely comfortable and spotlessly clean. There where lots of special touches such as dressing gowns, slippers and pillow spray! Breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty. Would definitely recommend and happily stay there again.
