Beautiful property! Friendly staff . Great location. Very quiet Stayed here for ski trip : Stratton and Killington will come back to explore the property

The resort was beautiful and the staff was friendly and accommodating! 4 people in the standard room w/ 2 fulls was a little tight but I think you're paying more for the resort as a whole. My only advice to the management is to better insulate the pipes since the hot water would sometimes take up to 5 minutes to come out, especially in the morning. Also, note the sauna is only open with the spa from 9-2pm. It would have been since to hit after a long day on the mountain, but the hours are listed on the website.

Really enjoyed the time here. Restaurant on property is amazing. Lobster chowder is a must! Was upset some things like horseback riding and boats were not available. Massage in the spa was terrible… hence why I took a star off. Beautiful scenery and felt homy. Enjoyed the time but next time will try other similar resorts.

I loved the view from my room. I rode 3 times. The stable hands were wonderful. Their companionship and oversight during each ride was Great! Safety was priority! The stable staff was knowledgeable about each animal and loved each animal. Additionally, the inside serving staff was very helpful and competent. Thank you,

The property is set in a beautiful location with mountain and water views. The room had older decor - the TV was tiny 24 inches.

The Mountain Top Inn is a fine lodge. Note that if you're skiing though you likely want to find a spot closer to the ski resorts. Most of this lodge seems to focused on weddings and events. The sauna is part of the spa closes at 2pm daily so don't plan for an after ski sauna. Also the resort fees seem a bit much when most resort activities are closed Sunday - Wednesday. Otherwise pleasant stay and the resort staff were friendly and helpful, just limited in options.

Gorgeous part of the world if you are looking for remoteness. Great views, restaurant on site also good. Houses have small kitchenettes if you want to heat foot or store in a fridge.

My husband ,sister and I dropped off my son at college in Vermont. We wanted to mini vacation at this resort . I called to get a 2 bedroom suite . They recommended the suite we booked it . When we arrived the main hotel has beautiful views . We were told to go to our room which was 3 min drive away. I paid double the price of a room at the main hotel. The suite was part of half of the house. No view and a small spiral staircase. My husband happened to sprain his ankle earlier in the week . I went to the front desk to get another room . I even asked for a single room with two beds and would pay the price and no refund if it was less. They gave us the other half of the house which had more stairs and two twin beds on first floor. I went back to ask if they could give us a single room w 2 Queen beds . But because of a wedding we could not get it .also we could not use tge pool or jacuzzi because of the wedding. I then said we will have dinner then check out and drive home . We had driven 4 hours there and was driving now 4 hours home . We got hone at midnight. I called management the next morning. Not to get refunded but to let them know and maybe get a discount on the room we paid 500 a night plus for the 300 in the dining room . Even a future stay for the inconvenience. The male manager treated us awful. At one point I asked why he was laughing ? He eventually comped our room however with his condescending ways I will not return . The service at the restaurant was very good

We loved staying at the Mountain Top Inn and Resort. We stayed in the Trillium guest house. We loved the screened in porch and especially our very own private hot tub. After a long hike, this was a treat. In addition, the jetted tub in the master bathroom was the best I've ever been in. The only thing we missed was not having a couples massage, or any massage for that matter, as the spa was closed due to COVID. The food was amazing and they don't skimp out on their portions. I would definitely go back!!!

We had a very nice long weekend enjoying the beautiful views, cocktails at the lodge, sledding and relaxing at the house. We rented Grand Vista and it was absolutely beautiful. Watching the horse drawn sleigh and cross country skiers go by while we sat in the hot tub was welcomed entertainment! Looking forward to going back.

We had a nice experience. We stayed in one of the condos though which was pretty dated. Overall a nice stay.

The hotel’s location is perfect with a fabulous view. We stayed in one of the houses and it had everything that you could possibly want including a hot tub and the most comfortable beds. This was a perfect place for a relaxing weekend break in the Fall.

This place is just amazing. This is the first time we came up in the winter. We loved the snow shoeing. Everything was groomed. The staff is always amazing and helpful. Everyone is friendly and goes out of their way to make you feel welcome!!!!!

Couldn’t get spa time. Also wine refrigerator in room kept both of us from sleeping. Cycled on/off all night loudly. No way to shut off it or light.

Spent a weekend in April at the Inn. My mother lives down the hill a bit and the house was full, so it is a treat to have this nearby. We really enjoyed our stay. Room was comfortable, although TV reception was a bit fuzzy and standard def. I mention it because it was hockey playoff season. I ended up watching the Ranger/Canadians playoff game just off the lobby. No worries though, was able to go downstairs to the bar and bring up drinks to enjoy. Staff is friendly, food is well prepared. Continental breakfast is worthy. Scenery is beautiful. Would love to spend some time up here in the Summer when you can enjoy the lake. Love the area.

Overall our stay was OK. I did not realize until we arrived that there was no downhill skiing at this location. The Inn also did not have an elevator and no one helped carry our luggage up the stairs. The front desk employees were nice and accommodating. The cleaning staff were wonderful. and the waiters and waitresss were fantastic.
