Beautiful villa with lovely garden full of flowers and hummingbirds and with jacuzzi. The staff was very helpful and friendly as well. We had an amazing time staying at the hotel. It is a bit of the main square but it’s well worth the walk.

A really beautiful property. The rooms are well accommodated, very clean, and comfortable. The staff is amazingly helpful. They arranged my COVID testing onsite to facilitate my return to the US, which was very helpful since I don’t speak the language and wasn’t sure how or where to get the testing. With COVID, they don’t allow meals at the restaurant, but provide full room service for all meals and the food is excellent. I’m really grateful I chose to stay here at the end of my trip. Highly recommend.

Good Service, clean a beautiful hotel for the price.

We arrived early, we were going to just ask if they could storage our luggage until check in time. We did not even ask for early check in when the owner came himself to tell us that we could get in as soon as they finished cleaning a room that was just emptied if we wanted. It was such a relieve. The staff is so educated and cordial. It’s the second time I stayed there. The pisco sour is the best.

We really enjoyed our visit with Jean and his staff. They were pleasant and informative. The property is old but full of character. The breakfast basic. The location pleasant but a bit far from the plaza.

The owners and staff are attentive and good-humored and the garden setting is spectacular. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. The hotel is close to beautiful parks and within walking distance of the historic district. A spicy fish dinner was delicious as was the buffet breakfast.

Loved the smell of roses as I walked in and they have a lovely garden area. I would recommend this place to anyone.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood near a large park, a short walk to the city center. The room is comfortable with a terrace looking over the lovely garden. We had breakfast in the sun room with a beautiful garden view, and saw hummingbirds too. Staffs are very helpful, answered all our questions.

Amazing and personal service! We stayed here before and after our wedding and everything was top notch. The owner and staff treat you like family. Would definitely recommend to anyone for a quality, quiet stay 10 minutes from city centre with a variety of food and delicious buffet breakfast.

We arrived very early in the morning are we were able to check in straight away. We were even offered breakfast! They also provided 2 packed breakfasts for the following 2 mornings. Staff were excellent. It was a 10 minute walk from the centre of Ariquipa which meant it was very quiet.

Fantastic. Fantastique. Fantastico. Ausgezeichnet. I have traveled to 6 continents and dozens of countries, and this hotel is in my top ten. This is the place you want to stay in Arequipa. The location is unrivalled - quiet, yet quite close to the Plaza de Armas and myriad other attractions. The service is spectacular. Breakfast is a morning feast. Bed was comfy, the shower excellent, and the decor delightful. This is a 15 on a scale of 1 to 10. Don't look elsewhere - you have found the hotel you want in Arequipa.

We thoroughly enjoyed in our stay in the lovely city of Arequipa. The Villa Elisa provides a great base for a visit. It is near a very nice park, and about a 10-15 minute walk from the main square - all of which felt very safe day and night. The hotel has a lovely garden, where humming birds come to feed, and which has a number of shaded areas to enjoy. The VIP rooms are spacious and comfortable with good sized beds and a jacuzzi bath. The double rooms are also spacious although the bed was too small for us -although listed as a queen it was more of a regular double and the hotel changed the room for us without a problem, although at an additional charge. We found the service a little mixed. The breakfast staff was fantastic. We didn't realise until our final day that breakfast finished at 09.00- very early compared with what we are used to on our travels, and we kept turning up after 10.00, thinking we were maybe a few minutes late - we only realised on the final morning our mistake, when we realised they had been keeping the breakfast open specially for us. Our sincere appreciation to the lady who serves in the breakfast room - she is a fantastic credit to the hotel. The staff who organised an excellent doctor for us when my wife was ill were also wonderful. The reception staff generally though were not quite so good - not bad just not quite so good. All in all, a nice stay and if you enjoy small hotels you are likely to enjoy the Villa Elisa

Wonderful hotel, with really nice staff. Owner is really nice, spent time talking to us. The are is safe, although a bit away from most places you'd want to visit. Walk time about 20-30 min to city center.

This villa in the shadow of the Andes and a short walk from the basilica, is phenomenally cozy and classy.

This is a beautiful hotel with great atmosphere. The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the room was very comfortable. It is fairly close to the center of Arequipa and we were able to walk to all areas of the city we wanted to see. The only issue was that we were able to hear every noise from fellow travelers in the hotel, as well as barking dogs both nights. This isn't an issue with the hotel (we found that every hotel we stayed at in Peru had the same problem) but travelers should be aware that they can expect to hear noise. Overall a great stay.

Nice, cute and clean hotel, with good location in safe area. Feeling welcome from the very beginning. Walking distance to main attractions and main plaza. Plenty of restaurants around, still recommend the hotel restaurant is worth to try.

In this hotel I felt at home. Everything was great. The owners seem to have invested a lot of love into every little detail. Beautiful garden with big jacuzzi, the reception area and restaurant are very beautiful, the rooms are great. Breakfast was the best I had in all hotels in South America. It will be hard to find a hotel where you get more value for your money. I highly recommend Villa Elise.
