There were no issues with our stay. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean. They clean the room and provide fresh towels every day. The AC was my favorite part. The location was perfect.

Great breakfast. Excellent location. Service by hotel was great. It is a short drive from the beach. Super Aki and Oxford stores are only a few steps away. I felt I received amazing value for money from this hotel.

Great place and colorful, staff really helpful and very friendly local people, great advices from them about security. On the other side, they have a good chefs n fresh seafood, seems are few of them also are local fishermen, nice dinner n breakfast too!

Husband & I had a great time staying here, staff was very hospitable & kind! The hotel was conveniently located & loved the ambience of all the plants, flowers & traditional Mexican decor. The included breakfast & restaurant was truly a surprise perk, every meal we ate was amazingly delicious & made with quality ingredients. Muchos gracias to Mestizo Galleria & the staff!

What we did not like about this property is first of all that they close the hotel at 10:00PM and when we arrived after this time as a family with a reservation confirmed by expedia we found the hotel closed with a chain around the door and padlocked. A cleaning person who was working in the courtyard of the hotel would not let us in even if we had our reservation and showed it to him and even then he hardly paid attention to us. After a dialogue where we were able to have the attention of the cleaning person or guard, he agreed to communicate by phone with a contact of the hotel possibly his supervisor and from two rooms that we had reserved, they gave us access to only one room and it was where we finally agreed to be given that room so we would not be left in the middle of the night without a hotel in that dark place. The next day we did not find the manager or supervisor of the hotel, only a hotel representative. I explained to him that I was requesting at least a return of my money for the extra room we paid for, what happened is that this representative made some calls and agreed to return the money through expedia which to this date expedia denied the refund just because the hotel do not answer the calls. Expedia sent me an email letting me know that they are not responsible and that they abide by the hotel rules that there would be no return of money once the reservation was made. If it helps, my recommendation is to avoid any dealings with this type of hotels.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Jose. The hotel shows its age but the room was clean and good size. The room was cleaned everyday. For the price, you can't go wrong. I'm a light sleeper but I did not have any issues with the noise. We were in room 6 on the main floor. Breakfast was delicious if you like authentic Mexican experience. Too bad the swimming pool was too cold that my 3yrs old daughter could not swim in. Remember to tip the staff if you are happy with the service.

Upon entering our room we were met with the strong scent of Fabuloso (cleaning product), not my favorite scent, but I assumed the room was clean...everything was okay until I entered the bathroom where I found it was pretty dirty, especially the shower area where on the ledge that you’d put your razor/shampoo, whatever, was gross. The last guy’s hair left behind from shaving all over, nasty old soap all over, it was gross. Other than that, we never really interacted much with the front desk as we were there for one night. Didn’t eat the food in their restaurant, but it looked and smelled delicious. Overall, fine experience, just a shabby place with an overall vibe that could be so awesome with the gorgeous art in their walls. Bedroom was very large with 3 queen beds plus a round kitchen table with 4 chairs for eating meals/card playing. If you’re looking for a a “nice” place, keep looking. If you’re in a budget and $115 USD doesn’t sound too bad, rent the room and make them clean the shower!

The property looked like it had a good potential before but it looks like the hotel owner has lost the interest in bringing more customers. The property needs major renovation especially in their bathrooms. And More training for the front desk personnel as well. I had a high anticipation for the restaurant downstairs but I had never once seen a customer or waiter but only the cooks. So sad.

Perfect location it in the two cross roads where the two main roads connect. Easy public transportation. Staff was awesome

I was skeptical about this place, but our entire stay was wonderful. It’s walking distance to Akki supermarket and many restaurants. The staff there was friendly and restaurant was really good. I enjoyed their free amenities such as breakfast, bikes, WiFi, fridge, and A/c. Breakfast was amazing. My spouse took advantage of free bikes. Their WiFi was pretty slow, but expect that with every hotel in Tulum. I would stay here again!

The ambience here is peaceful. The hotel is right off the main road and close to lots of great stores. We stayed here for 4 days and we’d stay here again next time we visit!

This place is very welcoming, cozy and fun to travel with a group of friends.

Very spacious room . No hot water. I wouldn't mind myself but needed it for my baby.
