Great hostel and excellent value for money ! Only £15 per night . Best location from all the ones I tested in summer . Just be prepared for the insane noise of all the youngsters at night sometimes it feel it is a stable rather than a hostel

Unique setting with the opera next door, which could hear from my dorm room. Good beds with adequate light & sockets, easy to find and great location for many different sights

I stayed for 2 nights and the room was very comfy and the bed was great. My only problem was that I never saw and nobody told me the the Holland park will close all the gates at some point of the day. There I was at 8:45 pm looking to see if i could get in to the hostel and walking around the park. I ended up jumping 2 fences because the only leave just 1tiny entrance to it. It was very inconvenient not knowing about it. Besides that everything else was good. Will i stay again?? Yes, cuz i already know how to get in and out.

I love the history of the Holland Park hostel, which is set in the park created by Lord Holland, who inherited the 17th Century Holland House from Sir Walter Cope, who built it on the land that is now Holland Park. The gardens and multiple areas used for a variety of activities are beautiful. I have stayed there in 2020, and the changes made are significant when you get over being unable to find your way around.

Property is easy to walk to, can be noisy, room cleanliness average.

So far from the city and the car from hotel drives to the City just 3 times per day at the bad time. You must be rent a Auto or just walking there.

Surrounded by a park is both a pro for day, con a bit scary going home night time

I loved the location in the middle of Holland Park.

The customer service was great. The room was clean. Bed comfortable. Negative points: (1) No hot water in the shower (2) The building sits within a city park. You must walk through the park to get to the building. The taxi cannot drive through the park

The environment is okay, there is no microwave access but thats not the issue. Dont ever plan to use the showers. The entire hostel does not have hot water. Get it- Its not like hot water is broken, there is simply no option for it. Its only cold water from all the taps and shower. I'd never use this place again

Was put in room 11 and barely got any sleep at all with people coming in and out late night and early morning

The place is really nice. staff were very welcoming and very helpful with questions I had. There is a really good vibe around the place. If you want a hostel in a great place, this is the place.

Very good emplacement facilities transport, park, shops

Everything is just barely okay, it's not incredibly dirty but also not very clean. Several days bins weren't emptied and shower not cleaned. Staff isn't motivated to do a decent job and no one checks their work. Most of the curtains in the room were broken, mattresses on the bed are covered in plastic (like in prisons) so they are noisy and hot to sleep on. Lots of smokers outside day and night, mostly young men who seem to hang out all day. You are not allowed to bring in outside food or drink and there are no cooking facilities so be prepared to eat all your meals out or eat in the pricey cafe on site. The hostel charges for everything, even bag storage if you arrive before check in time. £3 per bag. While the hostel is in a nice location it's not worth the money.

Everything was perfect

The property is in lovely location which is inside the massive park with a lot of activities. It has really hard working staff with great attitude to welcoming visitors. It’s just amazing. HEKMAT

You get what you pay for. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. The challenge is getting a car to the property and parking near the property. The closed parking is like 3 mins walk away and they are all resident-only parking.

all staff excellent but some rooms smell dump. may be i was the unlucky as there are 2 buildings.

As a woman, I recommend the 6 or 8 female bed dorms. Don't stay in the mixed dorms. A man tried getting in bed with me, then, when I kicked him out, he got in a bed with a guy who would have none of it! I liked Megan's Cafe nearby and trying out the Holland Opera which is next door. Great Charity Shops nearby! I walked to the hostel all hours of the night, safely, with no problems.

Basic & chip..nice area and lots of parks around.Japanese garden is very near by and worth a walk..

Easy to find

It was so bad, I had to leave early. Staff were horrible, couldn't be bothered. Layout is horrible. To get to a shared bathroom, you had to climb several flights of stairs, and it had one sink. Good luck getting any sleep, the beds practically top over when someone climbs the ladder

Bed bugs alert. Hot bitten to pieces and manager did nothing. Just grinned like a monkey in a zoo

Lovely location and lovely place. Major issues (has been commented before) the lack of water pressure/running water for showers. Lovely fountain (s) outside (one certainly ran all day and night when I was staying). Might be better having them off and having better water pressure for showers.
