Our air conditioning did not work for the first 24 hours of our stay, meaning we barely slept the first night because it was so hot in our room, and windows could not open. We were in touch with reception three times before it was fixed. Also we were allocated a room that was made as a double with a common sheet across the beds although we booked a twin. The room was really small with nowhere to put two suitcases. But most of all the cleaning of the room was terrible. The floor was dirty when we arrived and during the daily cleaning all that was done was clean towels, a new toilet roll, the beds and empty trash. No clean mugs and glasses were given, no refill of Kleenex, and no cleaning whatsoever. Also in the description of the hotel on Hotels.com it stated that the hotel is close to the Olympic Stadium (which was partly why we booked it) which is simply wrong. We complained numerous times, but the reception staff didn’t seem to care or take notes, so no one followed up on any of it, and when emailing the hotel after our stay it took them about two weeks to reply. And all they offered us was an upgrade if we came back. And we definitely will not. On a positive note we did enjoy the skybar and the breakfast buffet, and the restaurant staff were very friendly

There was no specific listing of allergens available at the breakfast, even though we informed about severe food allergies when booking the room. The chef was friendly and helpful, but we would have needed a list because of several difficult allergies in our family. Please fix this issue in the future: considering the risk of anaphylaxis is a question of accessibility. Secondly, for some reason the payment did not go through with the credit card number provided so we were called to come to the reception at 8.30 pm when putting our kids to bed. In the end we were told that we should come again in the morning. All this time the same card worked and was used in the end to pay our bill. Maybe this could have waited.

I used to get a slightly bigger room earlier on the 14 or 16 floor. This time for the same price, I got a smaller room on 12th floor.

Great restaurant staff, including Mustafa.

Rooms are nice and fresh, breakfast is excellent and personnel is very friendly and helpful. This time we had electricity cut-off for over an hour that was not nice when you have the room in 10th floor and elevator does not work. Parking in near by parking house or along the streets, not cheap ie. Around 50€/day. Some restaurants close by but would take tram to the centre.

Sauna and pool were great. Breakfast buffrt was awesome. Thd decor of the hotel wax also beautiful.

Enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean and had amazing views. For the price of the hotel the sky bar, sauna, and pool were great amenities. The restaurant had great food as well. The hotel is definitely walkable to the city center or accessible to the tram for those that do not like to walk. I also appreciated the later check out time as well.

Amazing hotel: staff were very helpful with all our queries; the breakfast selection was immense and all so nice- and the skybar was awesome offering views and sunset with great drinks.

Nice clean and convenient hotel!

Very close to the ferry port if you are arriving or departing via ferry. High rise hotel (so it is very quiet), with a nice rooftop sauna and pool. Great breakfast

Great property that is clean and modern. Oddly though pool and sauna area get closed down betwewn 11am and 3pm, so was a little dissappointed when we were turned back. Staff have typically northern attitude, in that you do not know whether they are intentionally angry at you, rude and unhelpful or they are just like that. One thing that annoyed was inability to get our room cleaned while we were out. It was only at 5pm on a workday when room service knocked on the door to offer to clean-up. In this are hotel could do better!

everything was good except there should be a coffee maker in each room

There needs to be more transparency from the hotel staff to the customers upon check in of the fees related to check out. I was charged 10 Euro for departing my room at 1224 pm. Late check out fee was not brought to my attention by the staff upon check in. I’ve never had a hotel charge me for leaving my room less than 30 mins late and I’m an avid traveler. I felt very taken advantage of.

Great hotel with lovely breakfast. The place was spotless and very modern. The sauna was an added bonus. Great toiletries and a good hairdryer.

Very nice hotel, the rooftop gym, sauna, pool and sky bar are priceless. The food is fresh and delicious. We got a coupon for champagne discount we drank at the rooftop bar with a night view of Helsinki! Very close to Terminal 2 where we took My Star ferry to Tallinn! Overall I will give 5 stars

There are some things that made the hotel average allthough I had a nice stay in Helsinki. First, The only possible parking option was 65 €/1,5 days, and it was almost 1 km walk from the car. Reception doesn't speak Finnish, but that was OK for me. Filling of same information to paper forms again and being asked If I want to join their Strawberry club was annoying. No, I do not want. Pool was very cold. Well, its March but still it could be warmed a bit more. Bar was filled with non-guest teens, and the music was super loud. No chance for hotel guests to find place in the bar after 9pm. Luckily there are also nice bars nearby. Not to rant only, there were some good things too. Service was generally good, room was nice and breakfast good. Allthough the breakfast setup is a bit chaotic. The hotel targets influencer-type people and I guess its good setup for them.

The tram station just in front of the hotel, easy to get into the city center.

Expensive item disappeared from room, was told it wasn't their problem. Followed up with two emails asking them to investigate and get back to me - not even a reply to say no, just ignoring the emails. Not the service you would expect from a Clarion.

This is an excellent hotel with very friendly and professional staff. Only minus was, that our room (superior) was quite small!

My wife thought the bed & bedding was excellent choices for breakfast were fantastic but times for breakfast were a little early
