The host Ian made us very welcome. Gave us plenty of information about the local area. Explained everything fully. The breakfast was excellent and there was plenty of choice. Would fully recommend booking here and we will definitely book again when in the area if available.

Very clean and a great kitchen area to make dinner. The place is about 15 mins from the M62.
Breakfast is cereal and juices, toast etc. So not cooked but presumably you could use the hob etc .
A comfortable stay and a good barn conversion building.

We loved this place. Great room, lovely view over the fields from our patio. Lovely bed, modern furniture, great bathroom. You can make your own breakfast up from the large amount of ingredients provided or even take your own. You can also use the kitchen for an evening meal, utilising the microwave or oven. Fridge & freezer also provide. Highly recommended.

I was so impressed that everything linked up and it was a very thoughtfully planned establishment. The breakfast room was very well planned. Good choice. The room overlooked the countryside and was very relaxing.

Iain met us and was super helpful. I stayed with my son for a football tournament the next day. having the kitchen setup the way it was is a great idea and allows flexibility. Highly recommended little gem.

Having stayed for a few night each week for the last few weeks, the repeat custom speaks for itself. Service is great, rooms are great and location is great. It’s a little further to drive for me, but Iain certainly makes it worth it.

Friendly staff, secure parking, clean and modern decor in room and bathroom. Patio area with table and chairs to enjoy the countryside view.

The owner was very helpful and the room was lovely and clean with everything you need for a lovely stay. The kitchen/dining room is well stocked with everything you need and the abilty to be able to eat there if you've got a takaway. The gates on the car park made it safer to leace your cars .

We booked last minute into this lovely B&B. Greeted by the lovely Ian who was so polite and made us feel welcome. The room was lovely and clean, and the continental breakfast had everything you could expect and more. We will certainly book again, if we are in the area.

Brilliant stay. Accommodation finished to an extremely high standard. The host, Iain, has thought about everything from covid friendly boxes containing towels, keys, etc. to a guest kitchen where you can prepare any food you wish to bring with you. It's also stocked up with plenty of tea, coffee, milk, etc. that you can use freely as well as beverage facilities in your room. Beds are fabulously comfy. Our room was a lovely big size and extremely clean. Only bug bear I could see was there weren't enough coat hangers in wardrobe but everything else was spot on.

I was only there for one night but next time my itinerary takes me to the Leeds area I know where I will be staying.

Excellent stay at the Fir Tree Barn. Ian was very welcoming and informative. The accommodation (room 1) was spotless and the patio was a great addition.

All property is modern and very clean & tidy. I love the fact that there is a communal kitchen/eating area and you can help yourself to anything. Cooking facilities if you so require.
Ian is very attentive and helpful.
I would highly recommend. There is a pub down the road which serves basic food (except Monday) but not much else food-wise, so you may need to travel to eat.

Our host Ian was delightful and help us in every way. Our room was large and beautifully decorated. The bed was large and comfortable. As a person with disabilities I found everything very accessible. Highly recommend!
