Beautiful place and they upgraded us for free! Perfect location and the staff are wonderful! We will stay here again.

Mi Otra Casa is a great boutique hotel accommodation if you’re looking to be located at the heart of Sayulita. Check in and check out was seamless and the small team they have on the property were pleasant and friendly. We booked the honeymoon suite for a romantic getaway and also received sparkling wine, cheese and fruit courtesy of the house, which was a very nice surprise. Bottled water can be found upon arrival which is also nice - I don’t believe other hotels in the area offer this. We didn’t get any additional bottled water throughout our stay (because we kept buying our own gallons), but I’m sure they replenish this. The room was spacious and had everything we needed and the jacuzzi was also great at night! Towels were refreshed regularly and they also had pool towels. Another thing we didn’t realise was that breakfast was included in our stay! Another great surprise. They are basic breakfasts but delicious nonetheless. For those concerned about the noise - it’s worthwhile to do some research about Sayulita and its vibe before booking a hotel close to town. The entire town is by no means a sleepy beach town and it’s bustling with music, noise and cars throughout the day and into the night. We were aware of this and brought earplugs. The hotel did all that they can to reduce noise, including installing double-glazed insulated windows, but hearing the outside noise is inevitable especially since it’s so close to town and I think you’ll get that with all the hotels nearby

Staff went out of their way to ensure we had a good stay, and could navigate the area as well as set up transportation to and from the airport.

This is a lovely place to stay in Sayulita! The rooms are nicely appointed, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is amazing! Those leaving bad reviews because of the noise are fools. It is loud EVERYWHERE in this town, every night, and where you stay makes little difference! Study your destination before leaving bad reviews because you failed to do your homework! My only suggestion would an iron/ironing board would have been a nice addition!

Our stay here was so wonderful. The staff is small, quiet, accommodating, and really friendly. We had a really pleasant time here. The location is what really makes this place special. It is within walking distance to the center of town where everything is happening. Yes, it does get noisy at night but we knew this prior to our trip so it wasn't a surprise. If you are a heavy sleeper and don't get bothered by music late at night this is the place for you!! Thank you again for the amazing trip we will definitely be coming back soon.

After countless searches to find the right place to stay, I’m so glad I chose mi otra casa. Location, the best. Friendly, helpful staff, perfect little boutique hotel. The music at night is just there, bring earplugs. This place was perfect and we just loved it!

Perched on a hill with only a handful of rooms and a team of three, this little gem was the perfect base for an unforgettable trip - the private hot tub in the room was a lot of fun, the housekeeping was always resetting our room to its original cleanliness with new towels, sheets, cups, mugs, and bottles of water. The marble floors were always cool and clean. The views from the upper deck were breath-taking, and the breakfast was a highlight. It truly felt like being a guest in a gracious host's home, as they maintain it like it were their own and cook guests homemade breakfasts. Mi Otra Casa lives up to the name and I hope to return someday sooner than later.

No air conditioning in the Palapa room. We easily changed rooms to one with nice, very cold air conditioning.

The property was beautiful, very quiet and private. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The staff was great, made great breakfast daily and margaritas.

The place is lovely, the people outstanding. The only problem is that the location is next to the main square and very loud music starts from three rooftop bars at 9 pm every night. It lasts until 3 am or later. You will need earplugs. During the day the place is wonderful.

Loved the private veranda attached to our room. Loved the breakfast in the morning, especially the fresh fruit! The pool was great, and the hotel was located half a block from the town square.

The staff is the best - I always feel welcome when I visit. I love the house and the location is central to everything.

I can’t say enough about this property. It makes my eyes watery to remember the time spent with my loved one on vacation at Mi Otra Casa. It is the most beautiful home. Everything was perfect . The staff was so polite and kind , Irma, Rigo, and David. Such nice great people. Rooms and the entire house so clean, bed was so comfortable. The views were so romantic and beautiful. We will return here again for sure. We fell in love with Sayulita and Mi Otra Casa. 10/10.

Right in the heart of the town!

Nice place, very close to the plaza and all Sayulita has to offer! We stayed in the honeymoon suite, it was a bit loud at night as it is located on the corner nearest some clubs. I think the other rooms would be quitter. We booked it for the outdoor tub:). Wifi was weak in our room but very strong in common areas. The common areas and pool were beautiful and there were no other guests during our stay, we had the place to ourselves. Staff (especially Rigo and Irma) were super nice and attentive!

Beautiful property ...had entire place to ourselves for 4 days ...only complaint is pool could have been a little warmer, but there was a cold front at time 1 minute walk to coffee shop 1 minute walk to margaritas ! On-site cook for days not wanting to eat out.

The property had a home feel to it. It functional and beautiful with many common areas to relax.

This was a lovely and private resort. It is like staying at someone's home, yet the rooms are private and have all the amenities of a traditional hotel room. As we were only one of 2 rooms booked, we had the place to ourselves. The kitchen is available, just need to make arrangements to have it unlocked. We self-checked in when we arrived over the phone. The bed was very comfortable, and the added sitting area with lounge-sofas was nice to hang out in. The location is great, only a few steps down the hill from the corner of the plaza. The nightlife is great if you like live music. The club music was going till about 3am, but our patio door kept out most of the music. It didn't bother us at all once we were in the room and ready for sleep. The pool was heated and very warm even in the evenings. The cleaning staff popped in and had our room ready, extra towels by the pool, and yet, were almost non-existent..meaning, they just came and went quickly, and the quality of the cleaning service was excellent.

This stay was amazing. The owner of the place allow me to be upgraded with early check-in and late check out. The staff Sandra and Luis were so nice with me. The place is very cute and perfectly clean. I recommend 100% this place!

Actually, we did not stay the night (thus neutral rating on all specific aspects), because my wife is handicapped and there about 30 stairs up to the hotel level! But the owner was very gracious and agreed to allow Hotels.com to cancel the reservation without penalty and Hotels.com did so (Bravo!). My advice: warn potential costumers about all the steps. Even an elderly person could have an issue with so many steps. One of the photos should show the steps as well.

Perfect location for strolling around town and to the beach. Easy to get to and from by taxi also. Food (every meal) and drink within seconds. At night you can hear some clubby music but with the windows closed and the aircon running it is more of a distant reminder you are in a fun seaside spot. We stayed in the Agua room and it was just perfect. My only point of improvement would be: fix the locks please, they are a bit run down and make locking the doors a bit challenging. Something else I would say for future traveler here - please be mindful that you are essentially in a large home vs sound-proofed hotel - so you need to be courteous to your fellow house guests. This would be an amazing place to rent out in its entirety with a group of friends. The common areas are gorgeous and the views spectacular. Wish we could have stayed longer!

This is a great property with beautiful amenities. It is super well located just 1 block away from the main Plaza. The view from the rooftop is fantastic. One thing to consider is the noise from the bars at night which are pretty loud. Other than that we had a great stay at Mi Otra Casa.

Gorgeous views and lovely terrace. Nice accommodations and bed. BUT if sleeping is important to you, do not stay here. It’s adjacent to the plaza where loud electric music blares until 6am. Honestly 6am. Every night. Then the roosters start crowing. Neighbor above plays loud tv. Earplugs hardly help. Also, Sayulita’s water system is very unsure. Many in our group got Montezumas in spite of caution. I never slam a place, but this was unpleasant.

Mi Otra Casa was the cherry on top for our perfect visit to sayulita! The villa was beautiful and very clean all over. Jose was more than lovely and ready to help us with anything, even showed us another villa for our next visit! We didn’t need to leave town until the evening and Jose let us do a late check-out with no problem or extra fees. We HIGHLY recommend Mi Otra Casa to everyone!

The property is beautiful with an awesome view from the second floor. The staff such as Jose Luis and Sandra are assets to this property. The only problems with this hotel is the lack of Wifi availability which is about a 10 feet radius in the the front entrance and part of the kitchen area. It is a shame that the owner does not provide better coverage for the excellence of this Casa. The other complaint I have is nothing that this place can control which is the loud music coming from the local bars in the Plaza. The music is loud and goes to about 3:00a.m. to 3:30pm from.Friday to Sunday. This is no joke if you like to get some sleep. I would love to come back here with my family but don't think I will for the weekend maybe during the weekdays only. This home is literally 4 minutes walk down some cobblestones and you are in the plaza. It is close to everything. This is a great location for sure but you will pay for it to with sleep deprivation. So beware. The grounds and the layout of this beautiful casa is worth seeing.

We had a great time in Sayulita....the hotel Mi Otra Casa it’s a very nice, clean and great location. We truly enjoyed our stay there and the people that work there are very nice and polite. We really recommend Mi Otra Casa and we would definitely go back. Thanks for everything!!!
