I booked two rooms for my employees and both rooms were unclean......i.e. hairs in the beds!!! One of the rooms had no working TV and when they enquired at reception about being moved/upgraded, they were told that nothing could be done! Terrible property and service.

We arrived at 3 PM, which was the stated check-in time, only to be told that our room wasn’t ready and we’d have to wait an additional 30 minutes. We were understanding and patient, assuming they were short-staffed, but the real issues began once we finally got into our room. None of the plug sockets were working, which was incredibly inconvenient. When we went to the reception to address this, the staff member we spoke with was completely indifferent and unhelpful. Instead of offering any sort of real solution, she told us to use the plug sockets in the reception area if we needed them — a completely impractical suggestion. It felt like talking to a robot, with zero empathy or care for the situation. Eventually, we were given a new room, but this was only after we had to push for it. The fact that this wasn’t immediately offered, especially after we had already waited for our original room, was frustrating, especially considering that we paid for a functional and comfortable stay. Overall, the lack of service, poor communication, and indifference from the staff made for a disappointing experience. We won’t be staying here again, and we wouldn’t recommend it to others.

Room was very small. I only had rucksack but it was already too small for it. Bathroom sink doesn't drain well but the size of the bathroom was good. I could also hear noises from other rooms but the location was very central.

Below average hotel as expected from easy hotels. Literally no service, no room cleaning, aircon temperature cannot be adjusted as it resets from central location. small box sized room with no table or a cabinet to store your clothes or laptop. Apart from central location there is nothing good about this hotel. Stay as a last resort.

Overnight stay

Stayed several times before so now used to the guaranteed queue at reception. Staff are efficient and there’s machines at reception for drinks etc. Rooms are fine for a 1 night stay although a bit too compact i think if there were 2 of you in the room. I’ve noticed the price almost double since it first opened and i dont think it offers the same value for money any more. But if you want something very central with several public parking options nearby by with coffee chains and restaurants on your doorstep it’s perfect

The room USB' s did not work - Loud above us until about 1am Difficult to find and no answer at phone . Says free parking on website, but had to pay parking of 7.95 which was off site 4 blocks over. Only give 2 stars

Easily the best EasyHotel in the UK. Perfect for solo travellers but will be small for 2 persons. Proximity to venues and shopping. Also air-conditionibg is super good in comparison with others. I will go back there on my messy visit to Leeds.

Ideal hotel if you just need a room

Very basic. No coffee or tea making facilities we paid almost £150 for one night, hardly slept as the beds are rock hard so I was in a lot of pain in my back and hips. Definitely will not be staying again

The room is clean, but space is really small and there is space on floor for only one big luggage next to the door and directly outside the bathroom.

We had an accessibility room. It was far larger than the other Easyhotel room we had. Comfortable bed, clean room that was very quiet. Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend.

The staff were told helpful when we had water leak. Rooms were so small that there was barely room for case. Bed was uncomfortable and not a double. It was even expensive for all we paid. Only bonus was town centre.

Stayed 1 night, as I was seeing friends. Very basic room, with basic shower room/cleaning area. About a 10 minutes walk to the train station (with a heavy bag). Right in the centre, so plenty of bars + food outlets close by. 24hr opened, I got in around 2am. Basic, clean, comfortable.

Cheap and cheerful, not the friendliest at reception but did her job. Strange room, lots of mirrors and the tv was about 7ft in the air. Other than that you get what you pay for and it’s decent for the price.

If you are going to the First Direct Arena, it is really handy. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room itself is budget, but you know that going in. Had hot water, shower gel/soap. Comfy bed. It's just a very small room, but as I only used it to sleep after a gig, it's just what you need. The street food stall outside was not so nice, would avoid that next time.

Probably the least friendly check in ever.

Hotel location was really central. The room was larger than I thought it would be. It was clean and warm. Would have been nice to have a chair/stool to sit on when not wanting to sit on the bed. The toilet and shower was clean and again more spacious than I thought it would be.

Cheap and cheerful just what we wanted. Only needed a bed for the night so it was ideal Could just do with a table to pit things on instead of the floor but not a major problem. And possibly a kettle for a complimentary morning cuppa

There was stains in the bed limescale in the bathroom the area around the bed very tight and confined there was no tea/coffee making facilities no glass for a drink of water sink taps too tight so i couldnt fill a drinks bottle. It took 10/15 minutes to be greeted at reception. I will not stay there afain

It"s a budget hotel, so no frills for sure, but it's clean and has the things you need for a brief stay. Staff are so helpful, solutions-focused and friendly. They are such an asset - I hope they sre treated really well by the company!
