This was my second stay here. I chose it as they were so lovely the first time around and we were not disappointed. very attentive, lovely breakfast. Off road parking, although limited. Walking distance to both the centre of Canterbury and the Uni.

Great B&B. Very clean, breakfast is lovely with a good selection. It is my first choicr place to stay in Canterbury. I visit a lot for work. Vicky is very welcoming and Julie is a great member of her team. Highly recommend this gem of a place.

We were made very welcome. It felt very homely. Clean, frest, tidy with things like a hairdryer/ sewing kit and an iron avaliable.
Only a short walk from the city centre.
Breakfast was fleshly cooked, with a varied menu.
Staff were friendly and welcoming.

An amazing B&B. The beds are super comfortable. Breakfast is lovely. The B&B is so clean and stylish. Staff very friendly. If you are going to Canterbury, stay here. 10 min walk into town.

I loved this place! My view of the back garden was so peaceful and beautiful. It was all very clean and new inside, the hosts were friendly and welcoming, breakfast delicious, and I liked the location and nearby walk along the River Stour: beautiful trees and meadows!
The cathedral choral Evensong service is also a beautiful worship experience.

We will be back!! Both the property and owner are fabulous! Lovely room, best English breakfast w/perfectly poached eggs and we easily walked into town right down the road. It was quiet for sleeping (vs. noisy main street properties) which was one reason we chose it but still so convenient. Highly recommend (and we are picky travelers) 😃

Vicki and her staff were welcoming, helpful, and have a wonderful b and B. The premises are charming and uncluttered. The back garden was lovely and breakfast was simply the best we had in England. There were nice choices and Julie was just a delight with a great sense of humor. Bed was comfortable, bathroom spacious and well stocked. The place was safe and secure. There was a pleasant walk to Tower gate and many places to have whatever beverage you desired. I recommend this place to stay because of its physical comforts and personable owner and staff. The experience was positive in all ways.

The owner Vickie was the best. Very friendly and a great breakfast cook and what a breakfast..hot and made to order, loved it! Room was amazing (#3), super comfortable bed, nice shower with all the toiletries you would ever need. Cookies provided along with a kettle and a wide selection of teas. Will definitely stay there again.

I can’t recommend Yorke Lodge Bed
and Breakfast highly enough. Everything about my stay was perfection. The lovely old home has been updated beautifully, my room was quiet, comfortable and immaculate, and every room is very tastefully done. But most of all, Vicky was the perfect host—accommodating, friendly, and incredibly helpful. I’ve never enjoyed a stay more.

A lovely , charming place . I would say it’s more like a boutique hotel rather than a lodge . The whole property looked very clean and very tastefully decorated. My room was very comfortable. Walking distance from the restaurants. The host was very accommodating - provided oat milk on request . I would thoroughly recommend this place.

We had a lovely stay at Yorke Lodge B&B. Met on arrival by the owner and shown to room, giving us information on Canterbury also. Room was on top floor with wonderful view of the cathedral. Room was very comfortable with toiletries in the bathroom. Had good choices for breakfast and both our breakfasts were excellent. Yorke Lodge is in a great location for exploring Canterbury, just a 10 minute walk to the bars, restaurants and Cathedral.

Yorke Lodge is one of my favorite places to stay and should be nominated for best run B&B in the country. It is immaculately clean, the rooms are beautiful and feel luxurious, and the beds/bedding are super comfortable. The breakfast room is a pleasure to sit in and the breakfast is top notch. The location is also perfect - just a short pleasant walk to the town centre and all its sights, not to mention great places to eat like The Monument pub. I’m always happy to be returning to Yorke Lodge
