Had a lovely stay at Brookfield B&B. We were welcomed and well looked after by amazing hosts - Lorna & Simon. They went out of their way to cater for us and were so kind and knowledgable throughout our trip. Room was lovely - comfy bed and plenty of space for a couple. Home cooked breakfasts were yummy - you must try the Keswick Ketchup!! All in all - a stay that made our holiday. We will definitely be back. Thank you!!

Decor very dated and over all needed extensive modernisation. Communal dining room dated and looked like it needed a good clean. Bedding clean and comfortable.

We could only stay one night but what a lovely stay it was. Simon and Lorna were very welcoming hosts. Nice clean room with plenty of space, we stayed in one of the family rooms and the three of us were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent best we have had this year lots of choice including breakfast bars. My daughter was a little indecisive but no problems all accomodated. What really made the trip was the attention to detail both in the room including drinks and chocolates and things like kids plates and egg cups. Checked out with the snow falling so walked up to the stone circle about 20 minutes up the hill and built a snowman!

Simon and Lorna were very welcoming and even gave us advice on where to see in the lakes. Room was very clean and comfy, lots of nice amenities in the rooms and you can tell everything is looked after. Breakfast was lovely, thank you. We'll definitely be coming back.

Simon and Lorna were the perfect hosts. Very friendly and I felt at ease with them. The room was small but very comfortable with lovely views and some nice touches. It had everything we needed. Breakfast was great and kept us going all day. they even gave our puppy a sausage. Thanks for a great stay. We will definitely be back.

A very pleasant and comfortable stay. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating or helpful and the choice offered at breakfast was excellent. In addition, the room was very clean and well equipped. We definitely plan to return when we next visit the Lake District.

My daughter and I stayed at the brookfield for a weekend walking in the lakes. the house was clean and tidy, warm with hot showers after a days walking. the breakfast was excellent with numerous choice. the hosts simon and lorna very friendly and welcoming. the house is a 10 - 15 min walk to town centre with parking opposite. thoroughly enjoyed the stay, no issues returning.

Fantastic friendly people,nothing was too much for them,very helpful and accommodating, would recommend this b@b to anyone.

Extremely comfortable bed and room as described but outdoor area for a cup of tea , as on the web site, was no longer available to guests. A bit far from the main centre for an extended stay, Not an easy walk ,Good pub up the road for a nice meal.
